7:58 This is brilliant, I love this solution for grip strength. I agree that it should have more grip than a shoe, as even quadrupeds like dogs and cats have "toe beans" to maximize grip on smooth surfaces.
If you want your parts to stay stuck to the print bed while printing, use a regular glue stick. Once I started doing that I have never once had a print failure
Thanks! I did try that with the new filament, but that didn't seem to improve it's adhesion much. I think it is just down to the brand, and the chemical makeup of the PLA.
damn dude, you are incredible... I hope you can make a short video on how you approached learning all these skills.. I have been in school for probably longer than you have been alive and I feel I don't even know 1/15th of what you already do..
Dude, Why are you reinventing the wheel? There are a lot of opensource 3d printed 4-legged robots. Here are a few, 1) SpotMicro 2) kangal robot dog 3) dingo quadruped 4) stanford pupper 5) open quadruped and many more. Please take one of them and build on top of that.
Although I never shared it in this video, I did make a rudimentary walking cycle (although it was so far from elegant that I didn't even bother filming it). But if there are any concerns about distance, the plate that connects the front and back halves can be adjusted in size easily
RUclips algorithms really DID NOT like that 1 year period of radio-silence from ya
I've got that Vsauce posting schedule :)
@@AstroSamDev I don't even watch Vsauce, idk about his posting schedule :/
Well at least he got the sponsor
nah its just your title bruh. Why are u calling it a 4 legged robot? Just say: I made a robot dog from scratch
@@ChaksFM he changed it lol
HE IS BACK BABY!!!!

I thought we were getting the Astro-8 video, but this is still awesome. Can't wait for the next iteration of this
Eventually! (I get sidetracked with other projects too often 💀)
This is so GOOD!
the next robot dog better have the ability to stalk people in the night
And hopefully carry their coffee so they don't get sleepy
Hey Sam, I am truely amazed by your videos.
Would you mind sharing your qualifications, and the resources where you learned all these skills
As soon as I saw this, I saw a potencial body for Neurosama.... welcome back!
Welcome back!
Views, give this guy views, now RUclips, give this guy views!
broooo you are incredible
HES BACK BABBBYYYYYYYYY

“A robot centipede from sci-fi nightmares”😂😂😂
This Video is so insanely good, the algorithm delivered wow.
OMG This is awesome !!
So cool!
You’re alive!!!!!

A weapon to surpass Metal Gear
Metal Gear? It can't be!
love your vids
Man you really need to upload that computer hardwired or pcb made
New subscriber, bro keep it up 🦾 greetings from 🇻🇪

The fun of it is to discover it yourself. Helps your mind develop
aracnobot : guaranteed to scare your roomates
Although less scary than Centibot!
nice robot
thansk
Now make it run on an astro8 module
god damn this is awesome
Long time no see
Wow thats so cool , what do i need to pursue to build these types of stuff? ece engineering?
Sam is back, how is the astro-8 build doing?
great video man! what software did u use for the animation at 1:43
Blender
BROS BACK??
nice
are the legs are so close they'd destroy themselves when even attempting a walking cycle or am i just paranoid

@@AstroSamDev oh cool
hey buddy where did you learn all these Arduino library , and do you do AVR chip programming
El doguiño.
when are u buildin dat seepeeyou bro?
It's been 5 months upload somthing don't take a year tho!
Have you thought of making another better cpu?
epic
Galactioid approved video
very cool

I2C is actually pronounced „I Squared C“ :)
I heard that it was accurate to pronounce it both ways, even though I do believe it is, officially, "I squared C"
@@AstroSamDev I pronouced it once as „I two C“ and got almost killed by my prof😂
Took you long enough (this is a dumb joke :D)
Something i just realized. Im no creator like this. But if you have problems with the plastic cant you replace it with metal.
