But Daima isn't being canceled! Even the manga is unlikely to be canceled, just on a momentary hiatus. Too many people worked on Daima even including Toriyama. There is no way and there hasn't been any news about it getting canceled.

I hope the passing of the Father of Shonen won't be the end of Dragon, Toyotarou and Iyoku should feel driven to want to honor their friend and mentor by making thus series as great as it can be. I got into Dragon Ball at 12 years old and still as a 26 year old man love this series a lot, I cried, cheered, laughed, and learned things from Dragon Ball that I'll appreciate from Toriyama for years to come. This year for me personally has been one of change and loss, I won't get into details, but what God has shown me that these seasons of loss and change is when you grow and become what you're meant to be in His image. I believe that for myself in my own life and I feel that same way about Dragon Ball. I know how you feel. When I was a kid I would always watch DBZ on Toonami, not the Kai version which I can't stand. It does feel like I've lost yet another part of my childhood, and it's depressing. I didn't really like DBS overall. Like how dumb they made Goku, the art style, and especially how fast things progressed, but it had it's moments. Stay strong my brother in Christ.
