- I tracked every single outfit I wore in the year of our lord 2023 in a spreadsheet. This is what I learned about my personal style, sustainable fashion, and overconsumption.

I’m doing this challenge where you can only buy 5 NEW items of clothing a year. I am already at the cap at the 7 month mark. Thrifting is allowed. Defintely get more wear of my thrifted items which I was surprised by. Just felt more kinship to them, maybe because I wasn’t overthinking like I did with the 5 items. ESPecially since they are cotton knits which are rare!!

No because the 208 items is literally so embarrassing 🙃 and shocking too??? Love the idea of having a specific limit for new items - might have to think about adding that into my 2024 intentions!

I'm eager for the closet audit workshop. I LOVE how you identified all your outfits, then tracked how often they were worn and shared what you learned from that. I'm on a year long clothing diet, and so far (6 months) have only bought 3 things. I'm feeling pretty good. I'd like to do a similar audit.

I love how intentional you are with your style habits (like noticing that you like colorful accessories instead of wearing big statement clothes). I just started tracking my outfits and I like it so much! It's very educating on ourselves I love it

Love the recap! Would love to hear how you manage intentional purchases while thrifting, as that process is inherently more scarcity driven than shopping from a store where you know it'll be available in 1 week/month/etc time! :)
I have a great shopping technique. When I love something on me, I buy 2. Makes life easier.

You inspired me to track my closet as well, have been doing since September. I do a much less detailed version than yours, but, I was so surprised to know that I only wear a small portion of my closet. It has also encouraged me to do no buy months.
