It so hard for concerns to be taken seriously at the doctors’ as a woman. I’m so glad you kept fighting and found someone who heard you out and listened to you remi
It would be really interesting to have Sierra Schultzzie on Pretty Basic to talk about PCOS and navigating body changes and body positivity while being an influencer! Also, thank you for for sharing your PCOS journey with us. Watching people like you and Sierra made me pursue a diagnosis and I am so grateful!
Hi Remi I’ve been wanting to leave a comment for a while.I want you to know you are a bright star in my day. I am a 71yr old grandmother from Rhode Island, but I so enjoy watching your videos. your life is so different from mine, but you make me smile every time I watch you, please tell Cal he is a wonderful young man and you are so lucky to have him in your life. Im sure he feels the same about you!. Much love from Rhode Island!
Remi! I started watching your videos at 9, and at 19 I was diagnosed with PCOS. Seeing the snippets where you talk about your struggle has made me feel more seen then any doctor has ever. Even when I was diagnosed I felt like I knew someone personally who had it!
One month after I started ozempic I got my period back. It was like my body started coming back online. And although I have nausea, I feel the best and most normal inside my body than I have ever felt in my entire life! So proud of you Remi! 😊❤
I struggle with endometriosis, another ovarian disorder and I always feel so seen and understood when you share and talk about your journey with PCOS. ❤ thank you for being so vulnerable with us! SENDING ALL MY LOVE❤
I usually do not comment but I have to say I have been on semiglutide since February and have loss 30lbs! as someone who has insulin resistance I understand the struggle I overall feel so much healthier and happier! sending you all the good vibes and positive energy Remi! 🥰💖
Hello 😊 I recently got diagnosed with pcos and insulin resistance as well (I just started metformin). I just wanted to say that seeing you living your life and dealing with everything and finally finding a doctor and a plan that works for you gives me so much hope and helps me staying motivated and keeping up with my treatment. I see you do it, and I feel like I can do it, too. I wish you all the best! And thank you so much for being so open about it.
Thank you for sharing your PCOS story. It helps a lot, I am going through the process of getting diagnosed for similar issues and also finally found a doctor who takes me serious. Knowing I am not alone in that is very comforting. I am so happy for you!
Thank you for sharing your PCOS journey with us! I was officially diagnosed a year ago and man has it been a rough go. I am currently on metformin and dealing with the side effects of that. Hearing you advocating for yourself and learning that there is other options gives me hope that I can get my PCOS under control too! Love your videos! 🤍
hi remi so glad you were able to get some answers about your situation, thank you for being so open & having the courage to share this part of your life, ive been struggling with my weight my whole life & nowadays i need to watch what i eat its just so hard sometimes but i know im not alone, your vlogs do help me get through it like a older sister to me🫶🏼🥹 love you have a great day 💕
I love that you’re so open an honest about your PCOS. I’m 27 and got diagnosed with both PCOS and Type 2 diabetes when I was 18 and I still have yet to figure out the best way to manage it. If you’re willing, would you be able to share how you found your specialist? Finding one just seems to be extremely overwhelming.
Whether you’re laughing or you’re crying, I’m right with you girl ❤ thank you for sharing your journey, you look like you’re glowing from the inside out 💋 get it girl!
I hate having PCOS! I go back to my endo in 6 months to start a semiglutide. I’ve been having a lot of stomach issues so I’m trying to see what’s wrong with that first before introducing a new med. I’m glad it’s working for you!!
this is the best you've looked!! I really hope you don't get crazy with the weight loss and still enjoy food! cooking with remi is such a treat to watch!
i literally started crying watching your content, i just came from Britany Broski podcast. growing up as a PCOS girlie i’ve literally experienced everything you have and felt so ashamed of my body and alone. So watching your content and seeing how open u are is so healing and inspiring to have a clearer dialogue with my doctors. your amazing !!
Remi! I got to say I don’t watch too much RUclips anymore. But I come back to watch your videos. Your so uplifting. It’s like catching up with a friend who has good energy ❤
I’m never the one to comment on videos but I been watching you for years now, and I just want to say i’m so proud of you Remi and being able to watch you grow and be happy! Your smile and positive energy is so contagious, and i just wanted to say thank you for letting us be apart of your life🩷
your skin looks soooo good in this vlog and your hair has grown so much i was literally wondering if you had extensions in or not until you went to the salon
Hi Remi! I am 20 and i found out last year that I have PCOS. I have not done much in terms of going to doctors and trying to figure out how it affects my body, mostly because I am scared to start that long process and I have been burned way too many times by our healthcare system in the past. You totally inspire me to be more proactive about my PCOS and just taking care of my body in general. I would love to get more information from you on this new doctor that you have found if u dont mind sharing something like that! (i live in the valley and I would love to get your advice on possible next steps/ people to reach out to to start my journey too)
Remi Oh my goodness I needed this video! I was just told by my doctor that i'm going to be starting semaglutide after trying phenetermine learning I had estrogen domincnace. I needed this video to know that its all going to be okay and everything works out and happens for a reason!! so thank you remi for being the rock and mentor we all need
I am soooo excited that you found something that's working for you. I am currently on metformin and it's been helping me. I'm going to my 3 month appointment next week and I'm excited to tell my DO how I've been feeling 💗
Remi I’m so so HAPPY for you that you’ve got your PCOS in control right now. With everything else that’s been going on in your life I’m so glad that you’ve gotten relief from it!! 🩷🩷🩷
OMG the mindset " We had 5,5 earthquake and now let's cook a meal" is sooo relatable to me, i also live in a region that has frequent earthquakes and I am glad that I am not the only one thinking like this. Btw, I am so so so happy for you finding a doctor that actually listens to you !!!
Im so happy for you I love you been watching forever and I never comment but I have seen you go through so much and I love that everything is turning around for you. You got this queen only best in the future for you
I really wish IKEA would make organizers to perfectly fit the Alex Drawers. Yes, there are many that fit but I haven’t found any that the sizing works perfect. There is typically small spacing on one side or the other.
Hi Remi! I love your videos and am so happy your house is coming along nicely. BTW, be sure to check through your house after an earthquake, esp with new construction homes and you then recent waterproofing job done :) Love you Remi and take care of yourself! ❤️
I tried to see a PCOS specialist for the 1st time this past week and it was the WORST doctor's appointment of my life. She was abrasive, combative, and would not let me speak. Im so happy to hear you found a doctor and something that worked for you. I hope I have the same luck too ❤
You should consider filing a grievance with your health insurance regarding that specialist! It's completely unacceptable when healthcare providers treat their patients in that manner
I love that your taking control of your health. I’m wondering if I have PCOS as well, I haven’t had a natural period since I was in like middle school.
Remi, the monster cookies are good. What I do is buy the frozen ones that are break apart and then I make like 2 at a time for dessert throughout the week instead of making a whole batch. Hope you like them!
As someone who try’s to be conscious about what they buy, I will always watch you because I love you promote your and recommend because I trust you as a big cheat girly and king person
