The blinds have two cords- one to raise up or down and the other to open/close the slats. If it has two on each side it's because they each control a side of the double blind. My Mom had them and I learned ' how to ' on different ones.

Friend of mine had a cat that loved to prowl around the bathroom sink. She got a cheap automatic soap dispenser. She got home one night to a cat absolutely covered in soap and stains everywhere from where it lounged.
They did away with a lot of glass bottles. Now we have useless plastic filling up in the landfills. You want to know how WE older people got the last little bit out of the bottle? Gravity and or a little water. Turn it upside down or put a tiny bit of water in and shake it up. Bam empty bottle.
