Marlo was perfect casting on Friends as Mrs Green! Rosemary deCamp also played a one-off role on Hazel as her cousin that was having a big, lavish wedding. Left off the list was Harold Gould that also played Lew Marie! He, like deCamp was all over television and really shone in each role he played!
I watched That Girl every night it was on. She's Danny Thomas daughter. I loved him . I am very old now and being born in 47, I watched all the old shows. I was amazed when she married Phil Donahue. That's for bringing back fond memories
I remember watching her father Danny Thomas on Make Room For Daddy with Angela Cartwright, Rusty Hamer, and ? Lords. Her 1st name escapes me right now. There were 2 wives actually. That was probably my favorite episode. I know this is supposed to be about That Girl but I just liked & respected her dad so much. He started that hospital from nothing. Your content on That Girl is much appreciated, besides saying it was one of my favorite shows of the 70's. I am curious as to the reason you picked out a couple of less familiar actors of the show, while leaving out the backgrounds for Billy ? (Anne Marie's acting teacher), and the beautiful red-headed neighbor ( married to Jerry, Don's best friend), what about Ronnie Schell (Seymour) who played Anne Marie's talent agent, even the restaurant owner and maitre d', whenever Don and Anne came in for lunch? These were characters that the show used frequently, rather than a passing glance.
I loved that show and Marlo Thomas was endearing as Anne Marie. My favorite episode was when they split up. It had a very different sensibility. It was as if the characters had somehow entered the real world. It was gritty and different. Thankfully by the end they reunited. It was always fun and light except for this one episode.
@@FactsVerse The one l mentioned (where they split up) was my fave. I got the sense that the actors were given the story and told it in their own words instead of working from a script.
