Hi! I didn’t understand the thing where you said if someone says something you don’t like it disagrees be quiet they will keep talking. Did you mean the subject will change orrrr they will talk themselves into a hole? You didn’t give a reason so I was just curious :3

a tip for anxiety, when you’re anxious talk to yourself and say “im excited” because turning anxiety into excitement is more easier than turning it into calmness because both have many things in common but you just flip from negative to positive. btw it works for me i even made my english presentation about it because i find it really helpful 😉
Lmao while I can see where you're coming from... I once went to the office after having a panic attack after arriving to class and I remember her face saying "Just try to think of it as excitement!" 🤨 I was like really..? 😂 It added to me feeling like I was broken the way she said it.

The part about children being appreciated for their hard work you can find in Carol Dweck's book about mindset. Growth mentality will tell you to always praise for persistance and hard work, while a fixed mentality compliments talent or smartness. Many people would be so much better off if they knew the power of the growth mentality. It changed my life for the better :).
It is actually a study which dweck did. There is a ted talk about it. In the study Dweck made two groups of children. For the first group she gave so many easy mathematical questions which they were able to do everytime. And for the 2nd group she gave a mix of both hard and easy questions. When the second group failed to do the questions, Dweck encouraged the kids that with hardwork and effort they would achieve it. When she gave the hard questions to the first group they failed constantly, telling her that they can only do the easy questions. This study actually shows about how the mindset could be grown with encouragement and hardwork. If u want to know more u can see her video.
