Still getting low fps ? try lowering the resolution ingame i.e Using the Resolution Scale option, Start at 100% then work downwards until viable results are found.

you can use softest shadows and use reflection quality as ultra and you will look perfect in the mirrors and the fps will be the same
edit: for graphics I recommend everything on normal except textures and reflection quality set to as high as your pc can,and anti alising set to x16 times. Your game will look very good.

My old video card died and I've been playing on intel integrated graphics. Your optimization videos have been a godsend while i wait for the the new video card to arrive. Turns out you can play just about any games on a i9 10900k graphics if you play with the settings enough.
Bruh, if you had just gone with amd... my laptop gpu stopped working because of my school software and i didnt even notice until i went to play vr games because amds integrated gpus are almost as good as some GPUs. I have since uninstalled all school software, and reset my laptop 18 times and my gpu works. Also, how is the 10900k i was gonna buy one for my pc but im thinking 1st gen threadripper or ryzen 9 3rd gen

If your DirectX version is stuck on 11 you can change it by going to game files and opening the commandline note and changing DX 11 to DX 10
ATENTION: IF YOU WILL USE THE COMMANDLINE FOR LOW-END PCS YOU NEED TO CHANGE THE CODE "DX11" TO "DX10", IF YOU DONT DO IT YOUR GAME WILL CRASH. You're welcome.
BE CAREFUL with this guide. After these edits I'm now having issues with GPU crashes so I've come back to revert some of these
How did you fix it? It made my car textures and other textures look like shit
@@KillerGrim47 I actually gave up with GTA V after reverting these as I didn't want to risk bricking my gpu and messing up performance in other games. It was a while ago now, but IIRC, it was basically clean installing anything related to GPU.

There are a few issues with some of those settings you show, first is game mode which has been known to case issues with with specific gpu's www.guru3d.com/news-story/windows-10-game-mode-can-impact-fps-negatively-with-stutters-and-freezes.html, another issue is with the priority of gta5 as shown in this article chefkochblog.wordpress.com/2018/02/27/does-changing-process-priority-have-any-effect-on-game-or-application-performance/ this barely helps on multi threaded processors and the last issue i see is time resolution as on windows 7 and up time resolution is set to 1 ms and the 0.5 ms that the application set it to does barely anything for FPS maybe 1 more but that's it.
That 1 fps could get u 60fps

@@calendar9136 no but I fixed it by some other ways...what I did was set my direct x to 10.1 and textures to high (note: setting textures to high is important..it won't work otherwise) and all the other settings to low

Just applied these changes, and now my FPS never dips below 60 FPS in the FiveM server I play on, whereas before I saw some pretty hard dips in the city. If you're having framerate issues, give this a shot!

Bro you my savior… the game clean I run with no problems at high setting but once I start installing mods I was getting 28-30 frames and would dip on occasion but with your help and no lie I’m seeing 40-70 frames depending where I am with the mods I have installed thank you so much

Well, so i did all steps and it seems to work (it feels a lot smoother and less or not noticeable stuttering), but now I have no reflections on vehicles and some materials... I had this problem past month (when I reinstalled and started playing again) and solved by disabling msaa reflections but now this method doesn't work. I have an i7 4770, 16gb ram and a vega 56.
problem solved just go to settings.xml and turn mipmapreflections true

Go on %localappdata% > VALORANT > search game user settings and turn the values from 3 to 0 and the resolution value from 100 to 70 or what you like the most
i wouldnt update to may update, aslong as microsoft doesnt recommend it. my pc crashed during the update even tho my specs are a 1080 ti and i9 9900k, and had to reset my complete system, but without the update everything is now still super smooth, thx for the video. maybe red dead redemption 2 as well?

The anti-aliasing mode in the screen shots of the folder is set to application controlled. However in the video this global setting is set to Off. Which one do I need to chose?
Just turn it off. MSAA in this game is applied on each and every object displayed on the screen, so it is extremely GPU intensive; or you can test on your hardware how it handles MSAA, especially with Grass Quality set over Normal around foliage area.

In my folder, there are no GPU settings.

Applying these settings (even with restore point)costed me my whole data. After applying all these settings and restarting it gave me unknown hard error. After that I also followed his instruction of updating windows. And there my headache started. I didn't updated through update option but instead I used an installation media because I also wanted that my pc get a fresh install with keeping data. But while downloading the windows suddenly my pc crashed. And it showed me blue screen of death. And I knew that i messed up.. tried ever solution to fix it but failed. Which led me to Windows reinstall. I didn't cared about data and blowed all partitions. Now here I'm writing this comment with gta 5 downloading in the background. 103gb left:) btw thanks Panj!

Man this is the only thing that worked. I bought a GT 1030 2 days ago.
My specs are GT 1030
4GB Ram DDR4
Pentium G4400 3.4 GHz
And the game was lagging a lot on lowest settings, I wal very worried that my money got wasted.
I tried many fixes but this finnally pushed the game to a playable condition on Normal Settings.
It stutters sometimes while driving but overall it is playable and I absolutely love you for this, thank you so much.
Very good guide, only gripe is that you don't mention the frame scaling for lower spec players, you can set it to 0.5 to have it sort of half your resolution i guess, making it much smoother
but it makes the game look much worse, so i never really use it
and looks ass. you may as well just put every slider on low and play on the standard resolution, same effect and still better than seeing blurry pixels.

Can’t believe how lazy game developers are for us pc gamers.
its not really the fault of the developer. Consoles are made for gaming, whilst most PC's on the market are aimed at more work / general purpose things. Especially low-end computers, even computers built for gaming aren't guaranteed to be as good as a console unless you sink $10k into it

this literally made my game so stuttery i dont know what i did wrong i followed all the directions. these youtube tutorials seem to work for everyone but meeee and im trying to do the restore point but it keeps failing and idk what the settings i had before were please help
how much ram do you have and whats ur gpu and cpu
@@litraheemfarooq2645 got the same kinda problem.. can't change to directx 10.1, after restart it doent save and automatically switches back to 11 .. i have a laptop gtx 1650 4gb ,16gb ram and ryzen 7
