'Changes' was the best song from the film, 'The President's Analyst'. This movie has developed a cult following over the years because it actually depicts situations that are possible today. The 'Cerebral Communicator,' dealing with 'TPC,' (The Phone Company) and the intrusion of the government into our personal lives by tracking us at will. Changes....indeed. Leave it to Barry McGuire to figure it all out for us decades before it really became possible.

In the film this is the perfect send-up of rough 60's style music, complete with awkward sounding phrasing, and I wondered who was clever enough to come up with it. But wait a minute--did I not recognize it as a serious art work? Shame on me!
I heard they cut this tune from the movie & replaced it with something else. Pitiful. Guess they thought they would save some money on royalties. Pitiful. This is a great song.
If ever released this song would be a hit , I looked for this song for years !!! Talk about no promotion !? Why did the record company not rush out a 45rpm in 1967 ??

I actually emailed Barry McGuire to find the name because I only new it from the movie. He's a cool cool guy btw. After I downloaded this i bought one of his cd's just to keep things equal.

On the laser disc (and maybe VHS?) the tune and others were replaced with generic music, but the DVD has the original tune.
