I’m getting my pharmacy technician license soon and you mixing the polygel and glitter with the spatula made me think about myself mixing medication and creams or ointments... but in a cuter form 😂💗
I love seeing so many nail artists trying and loving the polygels. I have some gelish, and like it just fine, but my personal favorite is Mshare from Ali Express. It's very thick, and doesn't need much slip to work. Plus now it comes in so many colors, including black! (just ordered that one) At around 11 bucks a tube (2 Oz each!) you can't beat it. I still will use up my other polygels, but anyway, I'm enjoying seeing what everyone else is doing with theirs. I do have a problem with the product glopping up under my own nails, so last time I used the dual forms over cut-down and glued on nail tips. Worked like a charm! Thank you so much for sharing, and I love your pixie poly!
Pam Miller wow, black polygel? Does that cure normally? I know the light has to get through the gel to cure it so how does that effect the black polygel? Just wondering...
I always wondered if you could use a tip underneath of the polygel because my nail bed is so short plus I'm a nail biter so thanks for that information I think I will go ahead and order a kit and give it a go
I thought of doing a mixture of glitter and poly gel but was afraid it wouldn't work. Your nails turned out beautiful. I think I'll try it myself and credit it to you.
Hey Evie! If you want to use a polygel that is just as good as Gelish, but a fraction of the cost, try Gelike or Yinikiz! I think Gelike is runnin around $11-$13 a tube on Aliexpress and Yinikiz is only $8. Although, you can get a 3 pack of Yinikiz (white, pink, and clear 2oz tubes) for around $22, AND they will ship it from within the USA so you dont have to wait a month to receive it. It took about a month and a half for my Gelike to arrive, and only 7-10days for Yinikiz. Both brands are awesome though, not sticky at all! I tried a bunch of knockoff polygels, and those two are by far the best! Sorry this comment is long, just tryin to help you save some cash! Gelish is awesome, but damn is it expensive! Lol! Keep up the good work! 💅😍🤗
Tracy Walls "scent-free" still has some odor to it, and the one I tried had a sort of stickiness to it when filing. I only tried it once and wasn't a fan, but they may have improved the formula since then. Honestly, I would highly recommend trying polygel, there's almost no smell, and it has the added perc of not curing until you want it to! Plus there are lots of affordable brands out there. I almost never use "slip solution", just rubbing alcohol, which makes it even cheaper! I rarely use acrylic anymore. The only downside I have run into so far, is that when I want to do a clear nail or clear encapsulation on a design, polygel doesn't seem to have a truly crystal clear formula. All the brands of polygel I've tried, the clear is a frosty clear. So I still use exclusive nail couture's clear acrylic for that. It has a lower odor to it, but still most definitely has an odor.
My daughter and I learned how to do our nails during quarantine. We learned so much from your videos. Now we watch every day! Like you say, practice makes perfect!. This is my favorite polly gel set. Love the bow and rhinestones, just Beautiful!
😘❤️I never cared about my nails but now I feel empowered trying to follow your instructions. Thank you momma for breathing a new life into me while combating the mh ish.
Well there are a lot of the cheaper Polygels now that have changed their formulas to be just like the Gelish Polygel and they're not sticky anymore and they work very well. The Gellike on Aliexpress is very good and the Venalisa Polygel changed their formula and it's now a real Polygel and Yinikiz is a real Polygel and it's cheap and all are on Aliexpress. So for anyone that wants a cheap polygel that's actually like the real thing then the ones that I mention are really good and you can use a slip solution or 70% or 91% Isopropyl Alcohol. I really like your videos especially when you do the Polygel with the dual forms because I'm a beginner and Polygel is easier for me than acrylic. Your nails came out beautiful! I really loved the glitter and the bling. Tfs!
I love when you talk about your reactions to your designs once you put on your gel top coat. It gets me so excited along with you. You 're a pleasure to watch and learn from. Love and light💚💜❤🖤💟💕💛
I have the Makartt system and I just started not liking Polygel but now you say this works better....Man, now you have me wanting to buy this but I don't want to spend that type of money 😂.
The Nini try Gelike or Yinikiz, just as good without the high price tag! You can get 3 tubes of Yinikiz for about $22 including free shipping in aliexpress, plus it ships within the USA so it arrives in a week or so! Gelike shipped from China so I had to wait about a month and a half for that one.
Are you using 50% alcohol with the makartt? Only asking because I was using 91% and it was a mess, just recently switched to 50% and it’s soo much easier
I love Polygel nails my first set I did on myself lasted for well over four weeks until I removed them and changed them up. Filling them myself was easy too and I just love it. Love these nails in vid
I just found you because I just am getting into doing my own nails and I could listen to your voice all day ! It's so relaxing and calm I am living for your videos now!
It's settled. I am gonna get gelish. I have Makartt and I am over the stickiness. I do like how Madam Glam applies but for the work I do they do not hold up. I just received some polygel from Aliexpress today, I hope it's not so sticky. It'll do until I run out. The nails turned out so beautiful. I can't get enough baby pink and glitter!!😊
Evie, I know you don’t like curved nails…but giiiiirrrrlllll, these are AMAZING! I’m going to do mine exactly like this tomorrow! Bless you for sharing your life and techniques with us. I pray for you and your family.
First off you’re not a beginner in nothing you do I have been watching your video’s for years and in everything you do you master it whether it’s your first time or not ❤️
Now I can see why many people where saying they bought polygel bc of your video. You made me feel so much more confident about the idea of getting into polygel.
Yassss I have been waiting to see one like this. In my growing kit I have 3 types of dual forms, (diff shaped fingers) Madam Glam and Gelish polygels and the whole LHPN glitter collection. I've been waiting to see you use either polygels with a glitter mix and dual forms! 😀😀
Everything i see on polygel nails makes it appear so easy, so I ordered a bunch of products and now that I have everything I'm having anxiety (probably over thinking everything) I am watching tutorials for beginners and I'm going to try to do this wen I feel I've studied and listened to the rgt videos. This video is at the top of my list, very basic and loved the simplicity as well as the beautiful end result.
I recommend gabby nails channel for nail care. She shows how to do diff classy styles but keeps the integrity of her nails. It just shows that you can do all the diff processes but still have beautiful nails and fingers.
I LOVE this video. Thank you so much, and that set really was BEAUTIFUL. I have NEVER attempted my own acrylic OR polygel, but if and when i do, polygel will be the way to go for me. Your tutorials are very specific and helpful. Looking forward to seeing more of your work!! ❤
Whos still here in 2020??? I ammmmm!! Been watching all your videos, I love your nail techniques, everryytthhhiinnggg!! You’re a good learner and may god bless you and your family. Much love from Arizona 🥰🎄🎄❤️❤️
Out of any nail videos I've seen, this is by far the best. You make so simple and easy to understand. I wished you lived closer that way you could do my nails😆
Sorry in advance for all of these questions, but.... Does hybrid/poly gel last as long as an acrylic set? Which is more durable? Also, can you do a fill-in and take-off video? Also, how quickly does it dry out? Would I be able to apply the gel to 5 of the dual forms at a time so I could cure all 5 at the same time?
I love mixing my polygel with fine glitter 🙋🏽♀️💕 I love Gelish polygel. I’ve tried so many. And the closest one that comes near Gelish. Is Gelike from Ec cosmetics. I love it 😍. Girl I wish I had your nails. Mine are so tiny 🤣🤣. I love pixie polygel. You should sell it lol. Tfs 🙋🏽♀️🙋🏽♀️🙋🏽♀️🙋🏽♀️🙋🏽♀️.
Love you your channel relaxes me and I just ordered my poly gel kit you showed I’ve been doing acrylic on myself and my boos but ima perfectionist so by the time I get em done I’m over it and I wanna get to where I can spend most of my time on the designs I like my ish crazy and none of my nail salons would do my spiderwebbed or flamed or checkered so I taught my damn self
Very beautiful. I love mixing poly gels and glitter. It looks fab!!! Loving Poly gels too. Great video girl. They actually have tons of Poly Gels that are not sticky and work awesome if not better than gelish. Try Gellike, Madam Glam or Tones. They are all amazing. Anyways, love the video. tfs
THANKYOU FOR MAKING THIS VIDEO!! I JUST GOT A POLYGEL KIT AND REALLY NEED TO WATCH SOME VIDEO TO LEARN BEFORE I GIVE IT A GO. YOUR NAILS CAME OUT SOOOO AMAZING AND ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!!
I’ve tried the same polygel you use but I can’t seem to get my nails to stay on for more than a week. Either a nail breaks or it lifts off the top. I think it’s something I’m doing wrong but I’m not sure what it is
I've been doing my own nails with polygel and it's all about trial and error. If you use too much slip solution, it will lift. Also try 91% or higher isopropyl alcohol. You also must make sure the product is as thin near the cuticle line or fine around it..if not air pockets or water can seep inside and start to lift. Using dual forms is too hard for me and causes lifting, so I much rather use nail tips glued on or regular forms.
I’ve been binge watching all your videos while my list is filled with nail supplies on amazon 😂 I’m 17 and gonna go work in the fields with my mom to get some money to start trying to do my own nails. I think I’ll get it right. I’ve been watching you non stop
Loved this! The glitter with the bow and outline are outstanding. You always have such great ideas! Thank you for the polygel as well. Do u think the Gelish is softer than the Makartt? I know from reviews that I’ve seen the Markartt clear is clearer than the Gelsih clear but don’t know first hand. I just moved over from acrylics to the Makartt and I couldn’t be happier. So glad to get rid of the smell! T/u again!
Harla Wood is the Makartt polygel good & easy to work with?I just ordered mine, but now she’s saying that the Gelish brand is better.so now I’m worried that the Makartt brand is no good. This is my first time using polygel.thank you in advance!
These are bomb! And thank you for your review on nail steamer!! Can’t wait to try it out. You are a amazing talent thank you for sharing yo skillz! #clawzup
Thank you for making this video for beginners. It was very clear, well explained, and you showed everything wonderfully. I ordered some to start doing my own nails again. I gave up because I'm AWFUL at acrylic, the mixing the liquid and powder, uggghhh. Polygel is definitely way easier to work with. I tried a small kit in the past. Can't wait to start doing my own nails again. I love your styles and designs! I also ordered the markartt dual forms in ballerina style because they don't have that heavy curve most do. Nice to know gelish is better than the others. I will check it out. 💙💙💙
Ran across one of your videos & been glued to the channel ever since! 3rd video in, & I just had to say WOW! I’m mind blown! Your work is gorgeous, and you make it seem so effortless! Keep up the good work!

Ang Ru how did the kit go?? i’m also a nail biter and am thinking about trying it
Ang Ru I recently put fake tips on my nails before putting on polygel and it worked great ! I would definitely recommend it if your nails are short.
I thought of doing a mixture of glitter and poly gel but was afraid it wouldn't work. Your nails turned out beautiful. I think I'll try it myself and credit it to you.
Colleen A Steeves Bos ive done it with the madam glam Polygel and it worked fine ...

Yes, gelike is good. I have some, but Mshare is just as good and even cheaper. about 11 bucks for 60 ml (2 oz) I love that stuff!
Has anyone tried scent free monomer and does it work as well?

When you go back and watch LHPN videos and the iconic intro isn't there!!!
Those gemstones around the border of that nail and bow DID ME IN 😩👀😍👀
Now I can see why many people where saying they bought polygel bc of your video. You made me feel so much more confident about the idea of getting into polygel.
This set is beautiful. Every design you do is amazing. I just love your channel and your videos. Thank you 🙌🏽🙌🏽😍😍

Me clicking on a video
Me: THIS IS THE INTROOOO TO LONG HAIR PRETTY NAIL SHOOOWW YEAAH
The video: ..........
The poly gel doesn't harden until cured so I think you get away with doing all 5 then curing each one..
Okay I’m sold! At first when I saw polygels before I didn’t like how they looked but you gave me ready to do this exact look!❤️
I'm still watching all her videos I am getting a polygel nail kit this Christmas and I am so excited I so hope it will work good.
Beautiful set of Nails as always 😍💜💅
Thank you so much!

Haha 😂 this was beaut!! What’s the brand of this one please? The one I used last night was a disaster 🤭😂 xx
Thanks Liz! I used the Gelish brand of polygel
Anyways, love the video. tfs
Omg I’m two years late to this video and I have never thought about adding glitter! 😱 Also, I have been watching a lot of your videos!!
THANKYOU FOR MAKING THIS VIDEO!! I JUST GOT A POLYGEL KIT AND REALLY NEED TO WATCH SOME VIDEO TO LEARN BEFORE I GIVE IT A GO. YOUR NAILS CAME OUT SOOOO AMAZING AND ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!!
Another hitter 🙌🏾
I’ve tried the same polygel you use but I can’t seem to get my nails to stay on for more than a week. Either a nail breaks or it lifts off the top. I think it’s something I’m doing wrong but I’m not sure what it is
Yes! Me too...

You should do ASMR with your nails
Hey Ms. Evie, so you didn't like the Markatt polygel? I found Gellish was a little too expensive for me.
Feelingoodinblue you could try the Madam Glam Polygel when the have a 50-60% sale.
@@Saz-xr9fc I did try it I loved it. I was just curious which Ms. Evie peferred.
