- Headcam POV drive in the BMW 540i. B58 engine is a beast and has never let me down. BMW power is the best. And still loves the 7/11 nachos lol they're fire after midnight!

I am looking into the new Dinan flash tune and their cat back. Is this a Dinan cat back? For me the constant pops and bangs when throttle closes are a deal breaker.
The constant pops and bangs are part of the tune, not the exhaust. The tune is also customizable to turn off the backfiring. Not a dinan catback either this is much louder custom setup
@@limitless.M5 thanks that’s good to know!
I wouldn’t go with Dinan. For the price you pay, it simply isn’t worth it.
All you need is a downpipe and I’d recommend BM3. MHD is good too, both have the ability to get a custom tune done to your liking if you aren’t satisfied with the ots tune they offer.
Both BM3 and MHD will make more power with far more customization than a Dinan flash and will also cost less than Dinan.
The stock catback is perfectly fine, a downpipe will remove the restriction and allow more of the sound to come out. But it won’t be annoying and you can still drive all day and be fine.
Personally I’d get a downpipe, intake, B58TU HPFP, and a BM3 tune (stage 2+, stage 2 meaning a tune to take advantage of the downpipe, and the “+” is to take advantage of the HPFP).
All that’s left is an XHP (transmission tune) and will love it. Totally different car, i see no reason to get an M550i when the 540i exists.
@@PapiAndreyproper info, thanks
I want nachos 😢
AWD or RWD?
RWD
I'd hate to live in the city like that.
I'm extremely undecided between 3 cars:
- 540i 2018
- m340i 2020
- m3 f80 2015
- m5 f10 2015
I intend to do Stage 2 in any of these 4 that I get, the twin-turbo V8 might not start due to the very expensive maintenance and problems that may arise. As for the M3 f80, the S55 has a crank hub as soon as I use it, and it pulls out a lot, putting me at risk, I'm totally Soviet when it comes to things. And so I'm really between the 540i 2018 and the m340i 2020, I love space and technologies, they say that the ZF8HP transmission of the 540i is second generation, while the m340i is a third generation ZF8HP, I don't know in practice where the difference would be difference between them. So I would like you to tell me which of the cars I should buy, I intend to do stage 2 and then a stage 3, either the 540i or the m340i ?
I would say the m340i. It has a better more capable b58 variant in it and gen 3 8 speed trans.
I own the 540i G30 built in 12/2018. Its a great car
Get the f10 best bmw out rn
@@italianofsteel9784 get a 2020 m550i, they’re reliable as long as you properly maintain them. They MSRP’d at around 70k so you should maintain it as if it were still currently 70k.
@@nopal4025 how long could these last until? like 250k miles or more?
May I ask what brand of exhaust pipe you modified?
Amazon brand
what's the exhaust setup?
3.5” cutout and 3.5” down pipe no taper
17 mins just to get nachos?!
Long drive lol
What year is yours
What oil do you use?
0W-20
How’d u the rainbow effect ??? I got a 2019 version
I have another video on ambient lights coding check it out
Is it reliable for a daily driver?
Kinda I would start getting your wallet ready for big bills around 100,000 miles
@@diangelo6686not really, just do the maintenance and u will be fine.
Got a 340i myself xdrive 500+ hp and its a good daily. But its bmw so if you have something small you will pay the price
@@chiel- I’d imagine he can’t do those repairs himself that’s why he’s asking 😂
@@chiel-hey, i just bought a 540i. How do i get 500hp? Tune, hpfp and xhp. Ofcourse exhaust too. Anything else?
