Anybody that calls this man a misogynist doesn’t watch the men focused episodes. He’s harder on the dudes than on the women. And in this particular episode he lays out the philosophy as to why his content is so heavy handed. This man did gods work. RIP.

The entire reason why most guys tuned in was for impure motives. I told him at a young age he has to surpass me as an engineering manager with 2 masters degrees and making 6 figures looking to start a business on the side. Reading is important, man. I grew up without a single book in the home and let me tell you, it leaves you at such a painful disadvantage. I caught the reading bug in my early twenties and DEVOURED everything and anything I could get my hands upon. From that moment on, my world opened up in ways I could never have imagined! I began to think more clearly, deeply and thankfully...objectively. Not only that, but my confidence grew exponentially because my conversation skills improved too. A Black woman here. Kevin is completely on point with his delivery. It's like a father correcting his child, or anyone in general...no one is going to listen to a soft approach. They listen to someone who commands your attention and is assertive.

I love how Kevin made reference to his younger self as a beginner practicing cornet/trumpet and how he progressively got better even though pain was involved. I can attest to how brutal and difficult the trumpet can be since that's my trade but it's a fantastic discipline to have because you can transfer that to other areas and careers. I decided that I wanted to be a scientist in my late thirties and because of the discipline developed playing trumpet while being a proficient Jazz improviser I knew that could be accomplished. I haven't quite finished the bio degree yet but half way finished and yes I have gotten my behind handed to me taking some of the courses and had to retake them but failure is a part of the game you just have to make the corrections and move forward. People like to run away from pain and sacrifice when it comes to success but they are key ingredients.

Listening to these young men let's me know being hard on my son and pushing him to be disciplined and successful is needed. I told him at a young age he has to surpass me as an engineering manager with 2 masters degrees and making 6 figures looking to start a business on the side.

I love how Kevin made reference to his younger self as a beginner practicing cornet/trumpet and how he progressively got better even though pain was involved. I can attest to how brutal and difficult the trumpet can be since that's my trade but it's a fantastic discipline to have because you can transfer that to other areas and careers. I decided that I wanted to be a scientist in my late thirties and because of the discipline developed playing trumpet while being a proficient Jazz improviser I knew that could be accomplished. I haven't quite finished the bio degree yet but half way finished and yes I have gotten my behind handed to me taking some of the courses and had to retake them but failure is a part of the game you just have to make the corrections and move forward. People like to run away from pain and sacrifice when it comes to success but they are key ingredients.
The last caller is defending the women by saying he doesn’t like Kevin’s tone. Some of the same women are calling the caller soft and weak. Hey last caller, they don’t love you like that. 😂
