Funnily enough I just got G1 Broadside. It’s better than I thought it was but the jet mode is strange and the robot mode is very thin. Great head sculpt and aircraft carrier though.

I believe that Hasbro had dropped the ball on the Broadside character. The Autobot Broadside needs to be rivals with the Decepticon Tidal Wave.
Also, a modern version of Broadside could be used for a TF/GI Joe crossover, with Broadside's altmodes being the U.S.S. Flag Aircraft Carrier and Cobra's serpent airship carrier seen in the GI GI Joe Revenge of Cobra mini-series cartoon.

Unfortunately the toy is a lot smaller than he was featured on the cartoon show. You could only put Slingshot on the air craft carrier deck from the looks of it.

I hope we get an updated figure of Broadside. Maybe a commander class sized figure that looks like the USS Flagg from G.I.Joe in aircraft carrier mode. lol

If I had Broadside I think I would just keep him in robot mode. His profile says he gets sea-sick in carrier mode and has a fear of heights in jet mode. Do the Autobots have any therapists or psychologists within their ranks?

Okay astrotrain may have a few odd moments of being regular train sized and also large enough to contain devastator inside, but how does this guy even make any sense? He goes from being a massive boat that planes land on, to one of said planes.
compared to this titans return broadside 30 years later,i say the titans return one is better but i do want a modern day one that isn't a titan master (none removable head) it would look really good.

@@mitchsantona Wheelie at least had some arms although looking at the figure that colour scheme is loud G2 Vibes. And Quickswitch isn't that bad he had some playability.
