I love big cats and they look beautiful in their own environment and help and adore them from afar . Big cats are no house pets they need and deserve their freedom . ❤
I have enormous respect for these big cats, thank you for the translation lesson Chris. They definitely are not pet material, very unkind for them to be kept that way & incredibly dangerous for everyone. You must have had an amazing time working with the rescued big cats.
I got to see tigers "in the flesh" at an animal sanctuary near me before COVID and, with all due respect to nature documentaries, you don't fully appreciate what magnificent animals they are unless you see for yourself. (to be fair to the sanctuary in question these were tigers who'd been saved from horrible man-made conditions and, sadly, would never be able to return to a wild habitat)
I was lucky enough to be at the zoo once when they bought the baby lions out to play. I received a couple of chuffs and got to feed one of them with a bottle. There were 2 of them. One of the best experiences of my life. ❤
So beautiful. So deadly. ❤ I am glad we can have the privilege of looking after house lions, tigers and panthers. The big ones need to stay wild, when possible.
That was great! Mandy Moo & her barks, & King Joseph. Mac: WOWWWWW! loves Nirvana's growls. Ares had the best purr! Jumanji hadvsome great saws, but nothing like Manny! He sounded like a giant chainsaw. I remember when Mama Becky & Kathryn said that the cat they were most afraid ofwas Cheetaro. I miss all of them!🐯🦁🐈⬛💗❤️💚💞💗🌈🌈
I have always loved the big cats. They are the main reason I visit the zoo. But I also have a healthy respect for them too. Thank you for sharing these videos with us.
Cat Man Chris is an amazing gentleman. Thank you for sharing a bit of your big cat knowledge with us. Love the Snioneeze! 😂🦁😹 And the little chirps, growls & chats from other wild cats at the end, what beautiful creatures & sounds. I can't thank you enough for this Cat Man Chris, Jessica, Marmalade & your fur crew. Love & purrs from mine to yours! 🤗💞😸💖
I always felt like they purr because, as carnivore predators, cats just have different moods than humans. They probably have a distinct mood called "doesn't feel like killing anything at the moment," and that's what purring reflects. They're feeling nonlethal when they purr.
The Growl in a Male Lion, is their only way to Hiss cause they actually CANNOT Hiss, that's why they go nearby in order to complement the lack of sound power, while tigers and other big cats can Hiss from the distance.
and....they are living in the prison which HUMAN made it for them...... to make film/ videos /entertainment /business / hobby and show the world that we care about them!!
Because they never learned the hunting and self-preservation instincts they need to live in the wild, and it's not something that can be taught when they're already grown. It would be a death sentence.
@@purrsephone2904 This footage looks like it is from Chris' time at Big Cat Rescue. They had nice, big enclosures there. And now the cats have been moved to Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge in Arkansas. You can look them up on social media and see what their amazing facilities look like.
@@emilywagner6354 They can be taught. But it's difficult, and not all of them will learn. And even if they do learn basic survival skills there's no guarantee they won't end up too close to human populations due to familiarity, which can lead to them getting shot. So, while it can be done, most famously by Joy Adamson with her lioness, Elsa, it's best done with younger animals that have had minimal interactions with humans.
Awe the privilege 🥰😽❣️
What beautiful animals!
Great images from Big Cat Rescue (now closed) and your travel to Africa.... 😊
Los amo a todos !! 💞💞💞
On another note: my sweet puffy mini panther PUMA, has an adorable purr too🥰❤

A tiger roar, if pitched up, can sound like a domestic cat's meow.
Nice thamks👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼🌺
Some big angy kitties! 😂
Omg they all are so beautiful ❤🐾💙
Thank you for the info! Beautiful animals.
Fascinating! Thanks Chris! ❤

You are the man Chris! That last guy chomping on that turkey leg? The crunch of the bones?? Nope!!!
Gorgeous and intimidating at the same time
Gosh! All of them are simply gorgeous.
And scary!
Cat man chris rescuing the big ones now. Great video thanks for sharing.

I loved all them sounds ❤
But from a distance.
Respect to all those beauties ❤❤
Joseph!!!!!!!!❤❤❤❤
Awwww dorable
A tiger once chuffed at me, and I petted him... it was amazing! ❤
May Allah bless you all’
That last one ( lynx) must have burped.

Tiger- I'm purring because I don't feel like killing anything at the moment.
Haha, I love that!

Nice sound🐯🦁🐅🐆🎶🎶❤
Qué bellezas de felinos grandes! 😍
Pero más hermosos los pequeños peluditos que tienes en casa, CAT ANGEL CHRIS 🥰
Which is your favorite?!
Chuffs are my favorite!
🐱 Marmalade ( although not in this video). Love his vocalizations.....🐈🐾
My favorite sound is those coming from freedom not in closed cages ••• 😢
The purr. I couldn't stop smiling
I just love them all, I can't choose one. All kitties are wonderful, although the big ones are best appreciated at a distance.
They're still cats...just...bigger...and more dangerous. I'll stick with tiny cats. lol
But how did we breed these hunting machines into the tiny fur balls on every corner of ever street in civilization
correction: big cats make for good pets exactly ONCE, then you won't be tending to any more pets XD
Lol
It's so sad to see all those beautiful animals behind fences :c
I bet you can talk to them (or most of them).
Wow 😮 do they also burp?
It's just so sad when it has to come to that.
Keeping them prisoners to save them from stupid people.
Do big cats need taurine like house cats do? How do they make sure the big cats get enough if they feed meat without fur/hair/feathers on it?
I see no big kitties, these are all little babies
Hope one day someone will tell us what all those jaguarundi sounds mean.
🐯🦁🐆❤❤❤

These big cats look healthy. Why can't they be put back in the wild? Thanks.
Because they never learned the hunting and self-preservation instincts they need to live in the wild, and it's not something that can be taught when they're already grown. It would be a death sentence.
@@emilywagner6354 Thank you. I hope these animals can have enough space to roam.
