@@deebo2236 Now that Ive played Kiwami I really often use brawler, but rush is still the style that I switch to when Im getting fucked up or when I wanna fuck somebody up.

Hard is definitely manageable especially in comparison to Ex-Hard where you'd have to restart from your last save instead of having the choice to start again at the last checkpoint. One thing that makes me sad about the combat in these games is that with a few exceptions, the main story is only truly hard in a fun way if you avoid using healing items and most people will not bother with self-imposed challenges. Then you have the Climax Battles in 0 which are absolutely ridiculous and miles above anything in the main game, and I suspect the great, great majority of players ignore that mode completely. It's a fun combat system but it's likely most won't realize and just say "play it DESPITE the combat" because they will stock up on items and not even bother learning it.
I just fill my inventory with Staminex 3, Emperor Toughness, and when I'm prepping for a boss, I fill my inventory with heat filling items to cheese the boss out
The movement just feels stiff and enemies tend to not telegraph their moves which makes the experience more annoying to deal with. Compared to other action games such as sifu, dmc, sekiro etc. yakuzas combat doesn’t match up in terms of overall polish.
Bro that boss that you just showed in the beginning was a pain in the ass I literally was playing on normal mode and he beat me at least 5 times and he was regenerating too the game had to ask me to put it on easy mode but how I'm further into the game but man I likely was mashing the fuck outta my x button because he grabbed me so damn much

Watching this video after being almost 90% done with kiwami's story mode, i feel like an absolute dumbass
Thanks for your help, because I can hardly fight and I don't understand these systems in Yakuza (you can see it on my channel on live records)
thanks for this guide. lol beat the 1st boss in my first try without knowledge and dam it was hard. lol would have been easier had I known this
Bro that boss that you just showed in the beginning was a pain in the ass I literally was playing on normal mode and he beat me at least 5 times and he was regenerating too the game had to ask me to put it on easy mode but how I'm further into the game but man I likely was mashing the fuck outta my x button because he grabbed me so damn much
Man currently on chapter 6 and there is a finisher system? All I've been doing is going beast mode and spam power moves just to stop them
Thank you,Man!
I right now already on 6,But I planned to stream this series in my native language,And I can't afford to be embarrassed in front of my viewers,So yeah,This guide help like a lot. Now I know where I missed and why I can't enjoy Kiwami combat like I did with 0 and 5.
Edit : When I follow your guide and learn to do some combo,Yeah,Once you get the hang of it,Kiwami combat can't be enough. This alone has to be 2nd RGG games with best combat imo,FIrst one is Lost Judgment.
Press square then press triangle until you have max heat
Then press triangle at the right time
well, fighting Jingu was a bitch anyway
I was really disappointed that we had no option to throw him off the Millennium Tower after all the troubles he and his friends put me through
Jesus christ the Jingu fight was *genuinely* infuriating.
But ya know what? Still cant hate the game.
yeah i just started pleying this after 0 so i got surprised how much more complex and complicated it is not that i dislike it i enjoyed it but gonna take a bit to get used to
man I wish I had a ps4 but I have to wait like a scrub for Kiwami 2 to release on PC probably in 2020
*Literally gets pummeled to death against a hard wall*
" Oh wait, let me just stand back up again before dying. "
*Dead*
