mr Mcdonald is a legend! he has been teaching for over 30 years, he taught me in primary school and high school, im 30 and still playing music thanks to his teaching.
I will practice..more..(72 year old lady)..and maby one dey Lang Lang will come to Belgrade..l imagin…I will live in dreams..haw I will play and he listen…it makes my life better
I agree - I'm a semi-professional pianist and I also teach. With one or two exceptions, I didn't think that any of the pianists chosen to play at the Series 1 concert were the best pianists. There are hundreds of pianists who can play as well as those shown on the programme, but it's always those with a story that progress. To think that Graham composed this piece, then played it, with all it's intricacies was amazing. I would have rather watched him in the concert than some of the others chosen to play. Needless to say, I won't be going...
