You can use turtleship like battering ram in archipelago map. Build barracks and amory in your city -> make some turtleships -> choose costal raids twice and than go sweep out. Other civs most likely don't have techs to defend it.

Just played my first game with Korea. Lost horribly. Happiness was so low I got rebels all the time. Gold wasn’t flowing and the 4 AI opponents just roflstomped me. Just started playing civ v two weeks ago so I guess there’s a learning curve 😂😂😂
