down the wiliamsburg bridge during the scream I calculated 57,6 km/h or 35.79 mph. After saying goodbye to his roomie and speeding up he rides 960 meters across the bridge in 1 min 20 sec which leaves an average of 42,61 km/h 26,51mph
Dunno if you guys cares but if you are stoned like me during the covid times then you can stream all of the new movies on instaflixxer. I've been binge watching with my girlfriend for the last few days xD
Man, these videos are crazy enjoyable to watch. I wanna get an indoor cycle stand and put this on my tv, put a fan facing me and pretend Im cruising these routes xD. Also makes me really wanna move to NYC. Thats been one of my dreams ever since I was a wee child
Covid saw me back riding my old mtb that I bought in 1998 and that had been sitting in the bedroom since 2000ish. Crossfit & SUP have given me a buzz for the last few years, but nothing compared to riding afap from point a to b on a bike. This chain of events saw me buy a Cinelli track frame recently with the view to building a fixie that I can ride as a daily. I'm still in the planning stages before I buy parts, but Terry's awesome channel is giving me so much education on how to ride aggressively while keeping safe, & at the same time giving me ideas for my build....
@@sanshinron sounds like you were wearing full lycra when a ""fixie"" rider suddenly zoomed past and left you in the dust and now you take every opportunity to throw passive aggressive shade at """fixie""" riders. Sure, it's just a trend. Sure, they're literally, literally, literally incapable of achieving high speed and if you aren't wearing lycra, might as well walk! I needed that laugh, thank you :)
30 below in Minneapolis doesn't feel so bad when your watchin Terry with tribe bumpin in the background...there's always a bike to use here @Terry Barentsen :)
Always just shocked how hard it is for first responders like that firetruck to navigate the city! From the Minneapolis area and the lights turn green so traffic flows for them
Gianluca Pompameo make sure to tighten both your cog and locking ring. what i do is I tighten the cog until I can't anymore and then climb a big hill on it only going forward to secure it properly while not pushing backwards. then tighten the ring
diverhose haha no man, I'm just a viewer, but I have a single speed and for that cadence I suppose they are going between 50 and 55 kms, and YEAH, both of them rock
The ride is on strava so you can check it out: www.strava.com/activities/1745928782/segments/43743572740 Avg 27.2 mph top speed 36.2 mph (sorry strava is not showing km)
I swear I can just watch this all day, it's just so satisfying 😮😮😮
You should actually try its so much better. This works if you cant tho thats why im here!
Same

Sometimes I wish you had a heads up display with the speed!
And a mini map in real time!

@Sterling Misael definitely, I have been watching on instaflixxer for months myself =)
Speed and watts would be awesome!
Also these videos just feel so real.
sonicx059 dope sound makes it next level !
Maybe 48/16? looks pretty standard at 0:05
@@k-dregg9578 dude you answered the wrong comment
You make art from risk. Your eye captures it all. Thank you.

The New York Mating Call yo.
Dude, I'm always so impressed by the relaxed vibe from the riders you film. Darting through NYC streets like it's nothing. Always stoked!
Beautiful audio, light, lines.
Thanks
All of your videos just shows everyone how beautiful the world is.

So good! Love the paint scheme on that Affinity deluxe.
The cut to the bunnyhop at 15:36 gets me every time 😂
Holy shit.... I remember one day I thought I was going so fast down the Hudson bike path, till this dude zoomed past me, haha!
He's on a fixie, he's not going fast, doesn't have gears for it and he's not even wearing aero clothes.
sanshinron we have a single hearing but definitely not slow lmao😂 someone hasn't ridden track before 🙆🤦
sashinron lmao would love to see you try and race this guy in an alleycat
sanshinron “not even wearing aero clothes” stfu dumbass

Great vid Terry, he went mad at the end down that bridge, like 55 kms I think, insane speed and great shots.
57 in fact but tbh that's pretty normal for downhill on the bridge. Pretty sick cadence though
I watch your videos while on my trainer rather than pay money to be on zwift.
Bro is FLYING back down the bridge at the end that was crazy, Corners and overtakes like he's riding a motogp bike
this finale is gold!
Those bridges are awesome!
Not much to say except, you both absolutely killed it! Total shredders.
one of my faves. Thanks for that
The sky crazy. Great color grading
Quality stuff. The parts over the Williamsburg Bridge look like a video game.
listenig to biggie smalls, every day struggle and watching this roughcuts just go so well. new york all i can say
it does! tanks, now imma have to watch it all over again haha
This is what RUclips was for. Sick channel
Some of that old exit ramp action on the Willy Bridge.
Awesome ride
It was!
Love the video. Give the man a rear light! Lol.
It’s dope the roommate just vibed out n got a solo 🫡
To all the ladies in the place with style N grace
the light is beautiful
That sky is fucking epic!
it's you guy has the best style!
30 below in Minneapolis doesn't feel so bad when your watchin Terry with tribe bumpin in the background...there's always a bike to use here @Terry Barentsen :)
having to skid going uphill. damn. it would be cool to have the speed and HR data
The amount of people who cross streets without even looking in direction of traffic. Crazy.
Awesome LINE !!!!!!!! Love it , greets from Germany 🇩🇪✌️
Bike is broken so I’m living through this channel until I get it fixed
Cinematography on point.
Dig that opening scene - Crazy fast action - Well Done
Cheers
He hauled ass at the end and it was exhilarating to watch. R1chard looks like a fun guy to ride with.
6:25 starts the high speed straight^^love it so much :)
23:30 what is the speed on this site ???
Look on strava
Looks like they hit a top speed of about 36 mph. Pretty good!
Again, sublime recording
This guy really knows how to move without looking like a fucking reckless accident maker. Also, why there's no motorbikes in NY? I only saw just one
There are more scooters these days
these guys are fulltime dope
What does hotline mean? Is that when you pedal very too fast on your bi-cycle through a densely populated area?
Wish you can add a mini map in real time, but I love real clean shots
it was nice and relaxing to watch
Love these videos
Seriously, what’s the gear ratio
Always just shocked how hard it is for first responders like that firetruck to navigate the city! From the Minneapolis area and the lights turn green so traffic flows for them
Have you gotten a bike fit done before? It seems like your legs bow out and you bounce in the saddle.
We lost him in Brooklyn. RIP R1chard.
Dude, I don't know if you already do this in the new videos, but it would be nice if you put the gear ratio the guys are using.
keep it up, love what you do with these videos
Man! This cat was booking it! I’ve been watching these videos all day. Lol!
How is the video so good in low light? What was your GoPRO setting for this? Can you please let me know?
Insane Badassery!!!
Really cool stuff, so underappreciated
dig it. but honest question - why don't fixies have brakes? seems to me it'd be a big improvement...
Chris Brosz brakes aren’t ‘cool’ bro. Safety is for chumps
Terry with the come through!!!🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
How do Terry changes the angle where the camera points?
How do you decide wich streets you take, is it like a commute from 1 point to another or is this just random?
Deffo planned, watched a fair few of these now and they seem to use all the same routes over the 3 bridges
Hey guys!
Please tell me what camera this video was shot on? Excellent quality for night shooting) Thank you
do you just keep going if you hit a car?
Only after I pick myself up from off the ground
What happens if you're going slightly downhill (like at the end) and you can't handle the cadence on a brakeless fixed? Wipeout, or could you unclip?
More reason to ride at or below your skill level
Best bet would be to unclip or studder skid rather wipe out road rash isn't a bargaining tool 😂
*¿¿Terry cuando regresas a México??* Las calles de esta ciudad necesitan tu presencia 😎😎😎
What helmet is the rider wearing?
How is that rear cog secured? Because mine keeps coming loose while skidding!
Gianluca Pompameo make sure to tighten both your cog and locking ring. what i do is I tighten the cog until I can't anymore and then climb a big hill on it only going forward to secure it properly while not pushing backwards. then tighten the ring
jarred kämmerer thank you, i will try it this afternoon. Should i also put locktight on it, a friend of mine told me i should try it.
Gianluca Pompameo yes I've heard that is also a very good thing to try,i will be using that next month when my naccc wheelset is being built :)
what tires are mounted on a richard bicycle??
I see one cut, wow terry
love these videos man.
Nice one mate. Big up from the UK 👍🏻
WTH gear ratio is this :D
cRunK 61/13
Ростислав Кухаренко If that’s correct that’s freakin dank.
Maybe 48/16? looks pretty standard at 0:05
I'm riding 49/17 with the option to switch to a 13.
its impossible. i ride 48/13 and i slowly than this guy.
Omfg how fast is that!!!@
Awesome stuff man, Ride safe..
How many miles did you cover.
any chance to see 360 footage?
is he on clipless?
That screech/screem
IT's like almost perfect 3rd person camera. Feel like playing GTA 8
MUY BIEN VEO TUS VIDEO DESDE REPUBLICA DOMINICANA
What is the maximum speed reached on this trip?
That cameo at the end lol
You can hear and see every bit of energy bring utilised but I just wouldn’t trust my myself with no breaks lol
Am i right that focus stay fixed? Or he tracked? And what the f value u use?
Man that was fast ride. I fly drones but that´s was a quicky too Bro. Greetings from Germany
Is that guy running like a 52 x 12? The speed!
Wow, how fast are you going down the bridge at end of the video?
diverhose I'm guessing like 55 kms
Both of you guys ROCK!!!
diverhose haha no man, I'm just a viewer, but I have a single speed and for that cadence I suppose they are going between 50 and 55 kms, and YEAH, both of them rock
Dang, read your reply to fast, but it's all good. Thanks for the heads up.

I don’t think you’re an asshole because of the fire truck. You got out of the way real quick. All good. Thanks for the great videos Terry ✌️
Pure adrenaline
