Belgisches Königspaar Philippe und Mathilde besuchen Berlin

An einem nassen, kalten Dezembertag besucht das Belgische Königspaar Philippe und Mathilde Berlin. Am Adlon gerade mal angekommen, ging es gleich weiter und zurück zum Brandenburger Tor. Der Weihnachtsbaum leuchtete, aber die Königin Mathilda brachte das Lächeln mit, egal wie das Wetter war. Beide gingen dann mit dem Regierenden Bürgermeister Wegner durch das Tor. Aber auf der anderen Seite konnte man die Bilder machen, da das Tor noch eingerüstet ist um die Säulen noch zu säubern. Königin Mathilde hatte mir noch zugewunken, stand gerade am Ende der Schlange und dann ging es durch das Tor. Noch ein Tag in Berlin geht die Reise dann nach Dresden.
On a wet, cold December day, the Belgian royal couple Philippe and Mathilde visit Berlin. Having just arrived at the Adlon, we went straight on and back to the Brandenburg Gate. The Christmas tree was lit up, but Queen Mathilda brought the smile with her, no matter what the weather was. Both then went through the gate with Governing Mayor Wegner. But on the other side you could take the pictures because the gate is still scaffolded so that the pillars can be cleaned. Queen Mathilde had waved to me, was standing at the end of the queue and then we went through the gate. One more day in Berlin and the journey continues to Dresden.
