Newburyport is a great little Ma. city. Born and raised there. Live in Nh. now. Can't beat New England period. I guess it is a little expensive but if you have been in the area all your life (so far) you should be use to it.
Tell ya what, if I ever manage to get my life together enough to afford the price tag of Mass, you’re going to be my first call. I’m originally from way out north west and I’ve managed to get as far as the Southern Tier of NY, but the Hudson valley is like a damn paywall. Feels like if you get too close to it the cost of living starts tripling, quadruple if you manage to get over the state line. Take my family to Mass regularly though, just wish that coast line could be closer than 6 some odd hours away.

great reviews as always...growing up here in the the springfield area i agree there is a total disconnect with the boston area.. most of here think of this as the hartford/springfield area the two citys are only 17 minutes apart ...im always in ct its just a few minutes away ... as for the big e... you could call it the connecticut big r lol...as so many people from the hartford suburbs go too the fair .. same as mgm all ct people lol ..who knew ..well maybe mgm did hahaha

Good video and right on the money except that these so-called affordable cities were the dumping grounds for welfare recipients from mostly Boston.......( Roxbury, Mattapan, Dorchester, South-End, etc ...........Those areas were mostly black and the State Welfare system sent them to these more affordable cities to save money..........Needless to say, the crime and low-lifes came with them and ruined the quality of life for all the people who lived there........The rest is history.......That's why these cities are so-called affordable.....But only if you're on welfare 'cause your rent is free and food and Medical and clothing,etc., ..........

It is such a great place! I love the conservation area with the campsite.
You can drive through Florida, Monterey, and Peru and never leave Massachusetts 😅
