EMC Testing in RF Anechoic Chamber

In this video we visit EMC test house Eurofins Hursley and do pre-compliance testing of one of our products. These tests are performed in accordance with EMC Directive for Multimedia equipment intended for light industrial use. We performed the following tests:
1. Radiated emissions in accordance with EN55032 (Class A) limits
2. Conducted emissions also in accordance with EN55032 (Class A)
3. Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) in accordance with EN55035
This is typically sufficient for pre-compliance for consumer electronics products, which is followed by the formal cerfification, but only if it passes on the first place :)
The formal EMC certification will often go into more depth than shown in this video, but I wouldn't recommend paying for certification if you haven't done precompliance as you won't get your money back if it fails!!!
