I have Meshnet working perfectly on my Samsung phone connecting to my home Raspberry Pi. Using Chrome I do a what's my IP
and I get my home IP address as I should. I turn on the hotspot on my phone using my phone as an access point but my home IP address doesn't show up on devices connected to my cell phone hotspot. Does Meshnet extend the connection
to my home IP address when my phone is configured as a hotspot?

I don't need to connect using a phone. i do however would like to be able to access files on on other computers in the house as well as a computer in another home. Nord and Meshnet set up on all computers but they wont connect. Reading the comments on all the videos i have found that says they show how to use it actually don't show how to use it. Very frustrating.

I have done exactly the same or even better by seeing up wireguard on the devices. Wireguard is very reliable so far and its free.
I've been trying to strengthen my networking muscles lately and want to be able to create a sort of virtual network that follows me around that I can easily add new devices to. Can wireguard help me with this without using nordvpn's meshnet?
@@bocimino463 Yes, with wireguard it is possible. NordVPN has been shifting from openvpn to wireguard since many years. Speed will depend on your up and down speed otherwise it works flawless.
does this person who you invite to your meshnet need a NordVPN account for this to work? Or can they just use yours? I want to invite a worker of mine who doesn't have their own account with NordVPN

@@nikkalite17 Another solution might involve remote desktop software. You'd be connecting to your own PC at home and using that to do your work. It works well for things that are not related to media. Windows has a built in "Remote Desktop Connection" function. Teamspeak is another common alternative. There are a few others. I would be careful of those. I've heard some are distributed by folks with malicious intent.
I use RDC from my corporate job to connect to my home PC. I do not want to transmit my passwords or secure things through a corporate network. RDC makes it 1,000,000 times harder for a nosy IT person to see what I am doing. As an example, at a previous job, my intellectual work was not the companies property in any way shape or form. If it was created or stored on their hardware they might have an argument to show ownership. I always maintained my own laptop, not company one. I did my work on my home PC connecting to it via RDC.

I have an illegitimate government problem. what has happened as an example is i use nord, plus macchanger. But the government must be tapped in at the isp / phone company as i would go to a certain online paper and it would be "access denied" so wipping browser cookies / rebooting new mac - even using a differnt computer clean of social media - and the paticular news website would load once then next page or back would say "access denied." So, will this meshnet mean whatever is connected to internet has its encyption. But i can connect to that devise with a new devise encypted thus using the already connected devise as a private server thus supposedly bypassing TREASONALBE CONDUCT by dogs who will be executed under a kingdom? {smile-smile}

You don’t show anything. This is not gonna be helpful for people who don’t know what they’re doing. Very low effort video. Read a bunch Reddit comments and show your phone connected to your PC…not helpful.
All you do is connect to it on your PC, then you connect to it on your phone after enabling the feature. What more do you need explained?
@@TomSparkReviews My pc is saying my phone is offline and vis versa? Also I dont see any options on nord vpn about accessing files on my pc, you just showed it working on your phone without explaining the steps. What did you open on your phone to get the plex server files?
