You are an absolute sweetheart! I find myself smiling as I am listening to you. I am going to attempt to make these adorable baskets for my grandchildren. I just watched someone else's tutorial on how to crochet Easter Eggs. Although, that might be a bit much crocheting and nothing edible. LOL I am sticking with you as I realize I comprehend your videos tutorials better than most. Stay bubbly. We all know life can sometimes bring us down. You are the sunshine in our days. Keep on shining!! *hugs
I am going to make two of your wonderful baskets. One for my daughter and one for my son! They are young adults but they really loved them! Thank you, my dear Jayda for your so helpful tutorial!❤!😊!!!
You are GREAT! Your video is tremendous. I just made three....the third one is definitely the best due to the fact I watched your video step by step, frame by frame😂😂😂. You are a great demonstrator and teacher!
Found this last night when I was looking for a rectangle basket. I used the rectangle basket pattern as my base of the hobo bag that I made last year. I will be making this basket for next Easter. My twins will love them. Thank you for being on RUclips. I love watching you crochet.
Jayda, what a really nice and pretty project. Thank you so much for sharing. I always have problems sewing on appliques and you made it so easy for me. OMG thank you so very much. Oh, and I made your baby slippers and adult slippers, coasters, placemats and rugs. Yes, thank you again. You are a wonderful teacher and thank God I can follow you.
Hello Jayda! Hope your haveing a great day. I'm gonna make one of these into a Valentine basket for my daughter. These are perfect to make for gift baskets for anything. Thank you again for all your great tutorials.
Deer Jada in stitches several years ago I made my niece's and nephews your Easter baskets and they loved them. Well this year my friend gave me this very cute and interesting yarn called bunny tail. I've never seen any kind of yarn like this so I've decided to make a basket for my sister's friend's daughter and son and I'm using the bunny tail for a boarder and as usual your beautiful basket you've showed me how to make is hopefully going to make some beautiful children happy because making it has made me happy especially with the bunny tail boarder it looks like Easter eggs around the basket.
Dear Jada I've made these for several people as gifts over the years this year I'm trying my first craft fair I was wondering if I could use your pattern to make and to sell as long as I have a pattern made by you attached to each basket?
You have so many of the cutest patterns. I've learned a lot watching your videos. I have done some of your little patterns. They are awesome and easy to work up. Thank you for taking the time to post your videos
Thank you so much for this basket pattern! I used it to test myself as well and added two more rows to the bottom to make it 8 rows at 64 stitches as it seemed a little on the small side for what I wanted to use this basket for. I love how slow you went and really explained your pattern. Thank you again and I cannot wait to look through all your videos :)
I made one of these last year and daughter continues to use it constantly for all her little toys and going from room to room! It worked up quickly and wonderfully. Perfect tutorial Jayda! Thank you!
Jayda InStitches THANK YOU! I wanna make your dinosaur next for my son who isn’t even two but he loves anything to do with dinosaurs! It really helps me out that you have so many toys and things for kids!! Thank you thank you
I tried a basket from another designer. It was more complicated than I think it needed to be. I came back to your basket pattern design. I will start a new one tomorrow. Thank you for such great teaching.
Thank you! This was by far the easiest way to make a sturdy basket the kids can beat around a bit. It also reinforced my own skills I taught myself about 6 months ago....I love it
Thanks for this truly excellent tutorial. I made two baskets, one using 4 strands of Double Knitting yarn held together and a 10mm hook, and one using 2 strands of Super Chunky yarn held together and a 10mm hook. Both came out about the same size , stand up nicely and look great. Knowing this might help someone from the UK where DK yarn is very common. Your instructions are super clear - thanks again.
Jayda says she is using "worsted weight", which is a little thicker than UK Aran weight, but not as thick as chunky. It's the next thickness up from DK. Hope this helps.
I love the way you make everything so nice and so easy. I could never make a basket and this is so well explained. Everything you make is so easy and pretty. Thank you so much. Blessings to you
I made this pattern for my great grand daughter and dressed it up with a crocheted bunny, and added lace. 'm going to make this again but in a bigger size. Thank you for the video,
Easy to make thanks to your tutorial. I made one today for my grandson's first Easter. Used a strand of crochet cotton, five strands of fingering baby yarn and a strand of dk. I just need to find some Easter appliqué's to attach. Time to search some more of your tutorials.
I made some of your eggs and put a shaker inside one of them. Also made the egg appliqués to decorate the basket. Thanks for those tutorials. @@JaydaInStitches
Thank you Miss Jadyda for this ... just finished my first basket I have got four more to go ... would be six but one of my boys is too old now for Easter baskets LOL .... I will put a few videos on here, Easter with the kids and their baskets and of course I'll put my thanks in there to you and then I will comment on this video and let you know need to go look this way you can see what you've inspired me to do thank you again... I do follow a lot of your tutorials and patterns. 😀
Hi! I am Babli from Kolkata, India.you have been such a great inspiration that it is thanks to you that I am completely hooked on to the hook.have completed more than a dozen baskets and gifted them.you've been an amazing teacher ... thanks once again 😍😍

I'm going to try to make these for my wedding 😬 I've never successfully made a basket lol. But I found your video and love how slow you go and how detailed you are. I appreciate you!
I LOVE this little basket I only changed the top of the basket to make it look like petals I'll post it here once I've finished the handle thank you for this beautiful basket.
I made two for my two Great Nieces and the way I made them to define the two girls is I used their favorite color to outline the basket and also added a flower on the side of each basket. I also made it smaller and made the handles different. I hope you have a happy easter _lh3.googleusercontent.com/3Oc97HAmYkxeJOXqQVeNslMnbEn4SVpy81WJyl9QVcLk-Pdpn6rplj2ActoAaAVdf6VmaZX4GA_

I’ve made several items from your videos , thank you for what you do , you’re such a awesome teacher . Thank you thank you. Hello from Wichita Falls, Texas
I love this pattern and can't wait to try it! Also, I love your collar "necklace"! Do you have a video for it? Thanks so much for all you do or the crochet community!! :)
Awesome video I can see so many uses in my house for a basket with or without the handle :-) thank you so much for putting so much time into helping us! 🍄🌸🍄🌸
Thank you! I made mine with baby blue and white. Decorated it with a bunny and small eggs along with decorating handle with flowers. I am doing alittle better, still weak, but doing well. Thank you for asking. I appreciate you and your kindness
I just made two of these for my girlfriend's grandbabies. I used red heart Mexicana verigated yarn because it is so colorful and the basket then can be used for other things during the year. I am thinking of making the egg app and just tie it on the handle or make a crochet stuffed egg to put inside...hmm maybe I will do both. thank you so much for being a good teacher. I just started crocheting again after 28 years. I learned from my grandma when I was very little. I made afgans and potholders until I was in highschool and never tried baskets and such. Hi Jayda! I found size 7 mm in a local wool place near my area. Michaels and Walmart did not have them. This lady, at the store I first went really did not know what she was talking about, but I believed her. I guess I am pretty gullible! I am sorry I took some of your time about this and I thank you for answering to me. I will do these basket for the Ukrainian Easter as they use it to put their food in it. I am not ukrainian but my husband is. Thanks
I'm so glad you found a 7.00mm!! I use mine A LOT :) It's just likely that the other lady you were chatting with just made assumptions about what you were talking about, or thought you meant the 'numbered' system. There are 3 systems for measurement so miscommunication is easy! Have fun with the baskets :)

Jayda InStitches hi Jayda I put pictures out there for you see on your Google account but I'm not sure where they went I hope you get them sorry I'm still new at all this Technology I'm old fashion :) hope you see them your crochet friend Sue💕
Thank you very much for this tutorial. I have been wanting to watch it for months, now, and have finally done so. I have three baskets if different sizes started and will be making them with multiple colors in each. The first one is almost complete. I need to weave in some ends and fasten the handle on. They all have brown bottoms are all done. They will all have green for a few rows and either pink or purple until the very last row and handle which will be yellow for all three. I thought about switching between purple and pink on one and may still do that to get a flower effect. Thanks, again!
I'm making these for my grand nieces and nephews this year. If you leave a long tail at the beginning when making the handle you can use that to sew it to the basket.
awsome basket i dont like to give my granddaughter a bunch of candy i already bought a summer outfit and one chocolate bunny this basket is perfect to present the present in as always a winner project thank you jada hop hop
This is perfect. My daughter was asking if I could crochet her a little basket so when she collects her hens eggs (she has 4, Mable,Chickaletta,Hay Hay,and Nugget). So I'm going to make this for her.
correction Jayda, I taught myself using your videos Creative Grannies and Bella Coco ...I have multiple sclerosis diagnosed years ago and I find crochet calms my mind well and in addition since my left side is partially paralyzed it is much easer for me too
Crochet is such a balm for the soul :) I too find it very calming, even when my RA flares up, I just slow down and try and hold everything a little differently :)
I made one of your adorable Easter baskets and decorated it with your flower pattern and filled it with jellybeans. These would be adorable May baskets to give to my friends. Soooo... ideas popping up everywhere. I would like to fill it with crocheted flowers. LOL
Hi Jayda ! I love this basket and will be making one for my new Grandson ! Can you tell me how you did the basket in the background with the Pokeball? My daughter would love that one !!
Hi Zoey! That's actually a blanket all rolled up...but you can use the main Pokeball as an applique and just add it to your basket...here's our tutorial: ruclips.net/video/jC3GkS5uvgE/видео.html
These are great will be making some for new great grand babies.. can I ask where you find your needle? I really like it but can’t find it anywhere . Have a lovely day/ evening
Hi Evelyn, wool needles are usually sold in sets of 3. Mine are by H A Kidd, but Pony, Knitters Pride, Love Knitting etc all sell under their own labels too. Walmart carries them, as well as most stores that sell yarn for knitting and crocheting - you can also get them on Amazon 😁
@@JaydaInStitches Thank you for letting me know, I’ll be looking again. The Baskets an eggs patterns are so cute thank you for sharing them.. have a lovely day 😊

Hi Zoey! That's actually a blanket all rolled up...but you can use the main Pokeball as an applique and just add it to your basket...here's our tutorial: ruclips.net/video/jC3GkS5uvgE/видео.html
I love all your videos .. I like the collar you are wearing how would you crochet one with lapels like a regular shirt collar
Hi Rebecca, thank you for watching! Thank you for the suggestion too :)
Hi Jadya! I'm new to crochet. This pattern is perfect. If I wanted to make this alittle bigger how would I go about that?
Hi Kelsey, an easy way to do it without changing the pattern is to use a slightly larger hook and 3 strands held together rather than just 2 😊
Позитивная , приятно смотреть , хорошие работы , удачи ! 😉😊😋
Thank you for watching!
