Neck and ear is great, on clothing usually fades quicly, legs behind the knee, crease of your arm, and wrist. Any pulse points are the strongest places to place your perfume. You can use spray or rollerball, some fragrances have more water in them some less so they are stronger, so it depends on a lot of different factors, how moisturized your skin is, what fragrance you're using and where you put it. Using a shower gel, body lotion, and Parfum (less h2o) combo will usually last a very long time. ❤

Since then, I've never used more than 2 sprays of perfume. One on my neck and one on my wrists that I tap together. It lasts me all day. Sometimes, I can even smell it the day after.
As a person who suffers from extreme migraines with accompanied nausea, it's terrible sitting on the bus or walking past someone wearing a mountain of perfume. I never say anything because people are allowed to do what they want, but it's not fun being bedridden or unable to move around just because someone used 1 too many sprays of perfume.

I find people commenting on your perfume isn’t always the compliment you think it is… Especially if they’re far away. Often, they’re kind of surprised or questioning why you put so much on. I date a cologne lover and he essentially puts that stuff on like axe spray. People compliment him all the time…but his true friends and me- you know the people close to him who sit close to him- have told him straight up that it’s too much. .The only time I think it’s a genuine compliment if if the person is really close to you already- like after a hug, handshake, or sitting side by side. Or - if you’re very stinky but masked it and then go ahead and take those fake compliments because at least you’re not smelling bad 🤷🏻‍♀️ even if it’s still strong.
Here’s what I do: I use lighter smells, and when I use dark smells I use less, further, or shorter sprays as they can be very strong- I know that Valentino perfume- it’s strong and I can’t imagine that many sprays she just did >.< I have sensitive asthma so I limit it myself. If it’s a dark smell, it’s the only smell I use- 2 sprays, 1 on the neck and 1 on the wrists that I pat together. This is the best places for people CLOSE to you to smell it. not the whole block. If it’s a lighter smell, I’ll pair it with a complimentary body 1 spray on my hair, and 1 spray on my 🤭 butt 😹… in case I fart you’ll more likely smelling either cherry blossoms, apple blossoms, or sweat pea. The body sprays don’t add too much because they’re not as strong as perfumes. You may need to reapply the body spray later in the day afternoon or evening if you apply it in the morning as they don’t last as long as good quality perfumes (why perfumes are even worth their price btw), like YSL or Aqua Di Gia, that are designed to not only be worn over 12hours but changes scents/bring out new notes over those hours. If I’m stinky or know I’m going to sweating a lot that day without a clothes change, I apply extra deodorant, and do 4 sprays of perfume instead of the 2 and 2 combo I typically do.
It’s balance guys. And also note, if you already wear overly scented products- like axe spray or tbh any “deodorant” body spray (especially men’s), certain hair products, sunscreens, even some make up products, note that factors into how much you already smell too. Personally,
I avoid overly smelly products as I like to chose my own scents and often those overly fragranced products aren’t good in ingredients or quality. Smelling good isn’t just about what you smell like but also the amount you smell of anything.

Smell good all day and get compliments is using the same scented products from body wash, to body lotion then perfume. Use oil ( I used baby oil gel) mix it with your lotion and then spray one spray on your hot points... behind the ears, the wrist and the elbows then behind the knees... once per hot point. This will make you smell good all day long and it will settle beautifully becuase of the layering of similar scented products and the oil helps absorb the smell but also makes it sit and last... I work in a non scented work place now so I'm scentless but bes believe I used to do this and from the time I showered to the time I came home 10 hours later, I would literally smell like I just took a shower.

picking scents that mingle or combine well is a must! ie. i've found i enjoy mixing merge's balmy summer (rollerball) and commodity's gold expressive, as balmy summer is perfectly spicy with some nice gourmands (very vanilla) and gold tends to be less spicy than i like but very chocolatey with the amount of tonka bean in it. one offers more spice and one offers more sweetness, but both pair well
