      @KegLand  Год назад +1

      We will be releasing a new Gen 4.1 model soon and if we get a good response to this video then we will probably make it standard in the 4.1 BrewZilla release. Up until now the PPSU tube did not exist which is the only reason why we have not done this in the past. It's a great plastic but it's not very common so all tooling to extrude needs to be done custom for us.

    If you want to extend the malt pipe and the base cylinder, can you use a longer section of the sight glass? The issue would then be securing the cam lock on the top end. Will the boiler extensions be upgraded to cater for this?

    I must be missing something as I don't understand the purpose. When mashing in you can directly look at the graduations to see the volume and pre-boil or during the boil your volume is up around 100L so the sight glass being only up to 80L would be pointless.

      The first of the Gen 3 units did have graduations that were a little off. We did change the manufacturing process in the Gen 3.1.1 and later models so the graduations should be withing about +/- 2%.

    Just bought a new gen 4 65L.
    First time firing it up to test it and clean it, was a failure.
    The valve when throttled, leaks all over the place due to the ball packing nut/sight glass interface not having proper sealant and o-ring installed. If you remove this packing nut/sight glass interface nut with a hex key and look at this part, it has an oring groove cut into the body and lines up with the smooth bore where it screws into the valve body. This problem needs addressed. I’m sure it’s not your fault. Probably your manufacturer of the valve. Valve was completely taken apart and cleaned up. Oring installed into valve. That problem fixed. The cam lock gasket is not thick enough for a good seal. Any back pressure from cleaning heads on the recirculating arm causes a leak. Bottom sight glass fitting should have a valve on it, incase the tube gets broken or fails during a boil. Just like any proper sight glass has for serviceability. You guys are headed for a wreck. I hope customer support is better than what I received on the kegerator I bought from you guys.
