Hey everyone :)
I’ve received many comments on this video expressing disappointment about the lack of women teachers featured on this list. I really want to apologize to anyone that this has offended- definitely a mistake and an oversight on my part. It is an impossible task to select a list of just 10 teachers which is agreeable to everyone, but there truly are many incredible female spiritual masters sharing their wisdom on RUclips…
Man or woman, in my perspective gender is not important to one's ability to guide others towards awakening, liberation, enlightenment. There have been thousands of enlightened women as well as men throughout history helping us to awaken to true nature and come together as one human family :) and any future "top 10" videos I publish will be sure to include a more balanced list.

Very nice list, just to address one thing here, men are 10 times more egoistic then women (it's bcoz of the society), hence they suffer from Ego more, so more men go in search of Egolessness, and end up being in the list of enlightened beings, that'y you included only men, just because that woman's womenly Ego was heart, you created vol 2 with only Gangaji in it!! that vol 2 should have been only women in that case :P

I like Eckhart Tolle. Once he said that he has known several cats who were zen masters. I can definitely see how a loved pet can be a very profound spiritual teacher and very profound motivator toward spiritual improvement.

Thru grace and good luck i was able to sit in Satsang with Gangaji in 1997 and recognize the beloved true self. Words can only point; these teachers are reminding us of our true nature which connects in oneness with the natural perfection. May all sentient being awaken to itself.

Bentinho Massaro was the one whose teachings I listened to to "get" enlightened. After that, for over two years, Matt Kahn has been the one from whom I learn. Although Life is my main teacher.
Had I made a list, my list would have been almost the same. At least Rupert Spira, Eckhart Tolle, Adyashanti, Mooji, Alan Watts and Sadhguru I've listened to a lot. Gangaji and Papaji may have been on my list.

the Term Buddha contrary to Buddho can be translated as : the one who has mastered his mind / intellect and Buddho´s are the ones who have not achieved it .
Buddha is not a term which describes a God and therefore there is no Goddes Mother or what so ever . Buddha is not a God he has only achieved to calm down his mind and master it thereby , the Gods and Goddesses are part of Samsara ( the wheel of life with its six realms Gods , demi Gods , Humans , animals ,spirits and hell ) beyond samsara you will find the pure land of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas and all those who have achieved Mukti - liberation from the endless cycle of birth and death )
Btw Buddha was not born enlightened he achieved it by his practice , he was born as a prince in a royal family , called Gautama ( the Buddha : the one who has achieved to master his intellect - Gautama the Buddha )

Very good list,I have studied most of these,there are many Indian teachers that have inspired me too ,like Sathya Sai Baba, Ramakrishna Paramahansa, Paramahansa Yogananda,Ramana Maharshi,Papaji, Maharishi Mahesh yogi, I would say the majority of western teachers have been likewise inspired by these great Beings.
Sathya Sai Baba the Avatar, has been a great influence on conduct,apart from his miracles that demonstrate a greater reality, (that some dispute as mere tricks) that all is God,example a leaf could be transformed into a diamond, all sorts of amazing things happened around him, he said nothing else exists except God,he used to say:
"I am God and you are also God, the difference is I know it and you don't"
Substitute SELF for God and he was teaching pure Advaita Vedanta, Non duality.

+Rainbow Warrior I had a super-conscious experience on just hearing his name in 1987 ! so I knew he was very important at least to myself.
He's Omnipresent, an Avatar he says (as pure consciousness) he lives in our consciousness , in my experience he does guide me in various ways even though he left the body a few years ago,he is returning as Prema (love) Sai Baba very soon. previous to the Sathya (truth) body he was Shirdi Sai Baba a famous saint who passed in 1918,before he left he said he would incarnate in 8 years,in 1926, Sai Baba was born,there is a series of documentarys on YT on Sai 's life from young age called "message of the Lord" ep 1 to over 30 from Radio Sai Global harmony.
SAI Baba is the most powerful and influential teacher I have found,his message is simple, "Start the day with love,fill the day with love, end the day with love,that is the way to God."

Yes there was smear campaign by close ex devotees and Sai University students who Sai Baba threw out of the Ashram because they were not practicing his teachings,he's very strict with close devotees,because they had the great privilege of being close to him physically. Whereas thousands could only look from far off lands, who did practice his teachings,he knows everything we do because he as Pure consciousness lives within us.
He is no ordinary guru but an Avatar, an incarnation of God with Godly powers.We have to earn his grace.
There is a very good book by Howard Murphet",Sai Baba, the man of miracles" many have gone to Sai because of that book, its amazing,unbelievable, its on Amazon, American version best,there are over a hundred books and videos on SB.

Nice list; I've come across all of these at one time or another. I appreciate you putting subtitles in your videos. Those of us who have some kind of hearing impairment often struggle with understanding narration, and when narration is accompanied by background music it is even more difficult. +NETi Zen His life really fell apart in the last decade or so of his life so one hast to question how Enlightened he really was. He talked a good game that's for sure. He let Sheela Ma run the show at Rajneeshpuram with drugs, automatic weapons, extortion, arson mass poisonings, and attempted murder while he was there in his addiction to nitrous oxide. He only disavowed her after she left and the Feds were getting involved. Before you try to dismiss all of this, my friend and ex financial planner was the same for Rajneeshpuram at the time and she saw this first hand.

may be you misunderstand what Enlightened man is, Enlightened person is not superman who knows everything. but they really who the are. he love all his people very much, included Sheela. but sheela have change after she had the power and many oportunities to use it for her own disire. osho didnt know her crime because he was in the silent for 3 years, after he found many problem in the comunne because of sheela and her gang. then he had to spoke again. and then sheela became afraid to be caughted. so she run away.
osho has many explanation about that, only his people understand. like me also, i just know osho from youtube and listening many of his talk. first time i see osho on video, i knew that he is Enlightened man, and he is my master that i have been looking for long time.

Thank you for that. I am old now, and have been allowed to become old. I could (because of my previous behavior) have easily been erased from the record. But? I grasped the concept of "If you are a seeker of truth? and genuinely so? The truth will reward you." I was awarded a long life. I was awarded a loving family. I was allowed to see that my tolerance of others opened my eyes to universal love and understanding. l certainly learned the other lessons. That destructive behavior breeds openly destroyed relationships, poverty, confusion, and despair. The thing is? If you want to be enlightened? Then be enlightened. It takes doing, not just wishing.

+Horst Jedlika He was included. I just can't figure why he would include Osho? Such a charlatan. He talked a good game but I guess you really need to listen? Rupert is the real deal. A true Advaita Vedanta speaker. Non duality in it's purest form. Love him. But the most important teacher of all time was omitted. Ramana Maharishi.

Bill Callahan , Osho opened my spirit and made me understand there's nothing to be done but to observe. His books on Zen particularly helped. I find all of "his" teachings in what any other enlightened people teach, but his humor really drew me in(Let go of judgements and listen).
After that I've gone on to learn through Shakti Caterina Maggi, Adyashanti, Rupert Spira and Tony Parsons(a huge omission in this vid). Tony Parsons is pretty radical and points out many statements of duality by famous teachers. He basically mops the floor with all teachings, taking a strictly non-dual approach. Check him out.

Ok younge man by just showing these clips, and writing more spirititual teachers on utube, you did a lot of good. For me it started from pure, unbiased search for reality and truth. Then a few of these people you see. Then days and days of constant watching these gurus or spirititual teachers. Four years ago, on my bed, while watching, something very good happened to me. I'm not the same, l entered a new better phase of spirititual journey, a better, fuller, richer, more joyful so anyone reading my comment, these teachers are awesome,
