      This might be Tom's 2nd best Comeback Victory. Also, the magnitude and scope of this win and the ripple-effect it had on both the Patriots and Ravens.
      For the Ravens, it was the end of the Joe Flacco Era. Looking back, 2014 was the last real shot that Flacco had at a 2nd Superbowl Win.
      For the Patriots, this win was "The Spark". This is the win that sparked Dynasty Part 2. Brady carried the team, given that his Offense only had 40 Rush Yards total vs the Ravens who were, in 2014, the #1 Run Defense, #4 Pass Defense, and #1 in total Defensive Take-Aways.
      Brady willed the Patriots into out-muscling Baltimore.

      For whatever reason the Ravens are the only AFC team that can figure out the Patriots in the playoffs. I knew that the winner of this game would have an easy road to the Superbowl, with Peyton Manning struggling at the end of the Regular Season, and Indy just simply not looking that impressive. Unfortunately, my Ravens fell short. If we can fix that god-awful secondary and get some more consistency from the offense (that means YOU Flacco) then I don't see why Baltimore can't make it back to the bowl. #RavensNation.

A win is a win, but the only thing we learned from the 2014 AFC Championship, is that the Broncos can beat Pats, when all of the Patriots Pro Bowl players are on IR. Manning's Broncos are 0-3 vs. the Pats when Gronkowski is healthy

    Devin McCourty's play to bat away Joe Flacco's Hail Mary at the end of this game is so underrated. Sometimes the ultimate sign of doing something great is that nobody notices. If the Ravens come up with that ball, they win the game, and the second Patriots dynasty probably never happens.

  • @quinceyhall81
    @quinceyhall81 9 лет назад +498

    I don't care what anybody says, in my opinion the Ravens are the second best team in the AFC only behind the Patriots mainly because we give the Pats the most trouble in the playoffs.
    And people needs to stop hating on Joe Flacco, he has proven to be an elite quarterback during his Superbowl run, he beat the best teams like the Pats, Broncos, 49ers and the Ravens were underdogs in every game. He also had a long streak with TD's and no interceptions. And stop blaming him for the Ravens lost against the Pats, he gave the Ravens two comfortable 14 point leads, it was our secondary that couldn't get the job done. Flacco doesn't play defense.
    Congrats to the Patriots on winning the Superbowl, they deserve it. And Brady is the greatest QB of all time. Hope the Ravens and Patriots play in more playoff games in the future because they give the best games.

      I'm a Pats fan, so the only Joe Flacco I've seen has been against the Pats and he always looks elite against us. If he can just do that in the regular season then the Ravens will be the force to be reckoned with in the AFC once Brady and Manning leave.

      Quite gracious and objective of you. Flacco is right up there with Brady when it comes to clutch! I'm curious as to what happen to Brady and wether his suspension will uphold or not. If it does, then Jimmy will have to start and his start to this preseason was subpar. I'm also curious s to what happens with the defense. You lost Revis and Browner which allowed you guys to run some more exploiting schemes. Joe Flacco is becoming a elite QB in the league and he prove that in 2012 when he put up 12 TD - 0 INT in the playoffs, no QB since another guy named Joe in Joe Montana did that. And to top it off, he had the best season of his career this year, he finish in the top 10 of total QBR of 67.3 (I really hate this new total QBR crap that ESPN created), his actual QB rating is 91.0 (career high), 27 TD (career high) - 12 INT and he light up the Patriots throughout the game and almost beat Tom Brady if it wasn't for the defense that gave up two 14 points leads (the Ravens secondary was filled with injuries and practice players was playing). Despite the outcome of the game against the Patriots where he throw for 28 of 44 for 292 yards, 4 TD, 2 INT (one of those was Torrey Smith fault), he prove to the world that he is a elite QB.

He had good field position and tons of time left. Not to mention he throw it off his back foot. I know NFL QB's have cannons for arms, but this is the Playoffs, it's do or die. Minimize risk. QB's in this situation need to become surgical. Similar to Brady in the 4th Quarter in Super Bowl 49. Just keep moving the chains. It reminds of that pic thrown by Farve as a Viking against the Saints.

Flacco is a guy that CAN put a team on his back, but at some point he needs a guy that can do more that just run the route, but one that can make the play on the ball too.

    I'm a HUGE Pats fan but the Ravens will definitely win at least one more SB with Flacco. Hard to beat them in the post season. Joe just gets on another level in the playoffs. He's got a cannon for an arm

      I think they will Brady plays best when he has something to prove and all this mess about deflatgate and a possible suspension is only going to be fuel to the fire. They'll at least be back to the AFC championship, that's for sure.

      +T Wilson I agree on Tom's competitve nature,Deflategate only helps but man I really doubt we repeat.We took major hits on rooster especially defence.But in BB we trust.

      I hope NE repeats. I really do. But I'm also a realist & it will not be easy. Lots of key players are not on the team from last year and other teams improve and get better. Plus every team needs luck with injuries and needs key players to perform well and have good seasons. But I have faith in this team. They always find a way.

    That play batting the ball out of the end zone. Some teams fall asleep on that! Liked 2012 AFC rematch. Ravens top Broncos in best AFC matchups until 2015 Broncos (but Payton out of game)

    This season for the Pats is full of unfinished business .....beating the Ravens who somehow are the Patriots bane at home in the playoffs....proving yet again that they are good after cheating accusations....surviving another Tyree\Manningham like catch in the SB...and finally getting Brady and the Patriots that elusive 4th ring.....hopefully its a Giants vs Patriots SB.....that would set everything straight after the Patriots beat em.

    • @RockdaNike
      @RockdaNike 9 лет назад +1

      Unfortunately for the pats by the time the Giants are back in full force the pats will probably have declined or at least won't be this good. Without the core of Arrington, Browner, Revis, and Mccourty and going up against Cruz and Beckham Jr. the pats might be in trouble.

    • @denster5526
      @denster5526 9 лет назад

      Who said we are losing Revis and Mccourty? Besides the Giants pass rush is gone now....Brady will throw at will

    • @denster5526
      @denster5526 9 лет назад

      It would be really hard to recreate the core group of rushers....that is why they beat the pats.

    • @RockdaNike
      @RockdaNike 9 лет назад

      I'm saying the Giants won't be good enough to make a superbowl before this version of the Pats is basically gone. And be careful the Giants pass rush is another guy away from beign deadly Ayers, Moore, JPP all really good right now.

      MarloSoBalJr Gaming Yea tough to lose with phantom holds and DPI giving you guys free touchdowns and negating fumbles on the 1 yard line. Refs kept this close. McDaniels fleeced that Ravens defense.

    Everytime I watch this I really wonder how we didn't win this. It's alright, last time we lost to the patriots in a close game we beat them the following year and went on to win the super bowl. Sometimes you have to accept the bad things because it may lead to better things in the future.
