One note about the TMX Pro. It works with Xbox and PC but I had only been using it with Xbox until yesterday. With the xbox you can manually set the amount of wheel rotation and the sensitivity. However. the driver for PC only allows you to adjust the amount of rotation not the sensitivity. That said I find the PC graphics so much smoother so far in wheel response. Also, when you shut down the settings for those two things are lost and you must reset to whatever configuration you want again. Otherwise for my first wheel it feels pretty good and still playing with all the tweaks in game to get it to my happy place.
Good solid review, if I had any feedback I would suggest maybe showing some in game footage of you using the wheel and talking about the force feedback and how it feels in game
I’ve had my G920 for almost 3 years. Apart from a squeaky pedal set everything is still working fine. Including the shifter. The best beginner wheel in my opinion, since it’s cheap, reliable and overall great.
I've done an a decent amount of research on the topic. Here's my findings, yes the G920 does look more premium and does feel better to the touch with the higher quality materiels. The TMX is better in about every other way mechanically, less dead space in the steering wheel, "cheaper price" (wheel and pedals with the pro are a bit cheaper then the G920 but if you want the manual shifter on the TMX it costs twice as much G920 so nearly a wash.) The pedals feel to be of better quality on the TMX pro the are heavier and have a more natural feel. Also if you go for the manual option the th8a gear selector is simply better for realism and has more options such as sequential shifting. All in all if you have the opportunity to try both I would and see what you prefer. If you need the higher quality materials and you are on a budget the G920 is for you, if you want better performance and you are willing to "mod" the TMX is the way to go.

Late reply, but chances are yes, you have a defective unit like Jonas said before me, or it's improperly configured in the game(s) you're playing. I'd keep trying with configurations and settings before giving up on it, but if all else fails, then sending it back is definitely your best bet. It's a good wheel and pedal combination, and the shifter is also quite good, so I'd say take a warranty replacement or repurchase the same unit if this experience hasn't dissuaded you.
