Urgently give this to plants in the garden and you will harvest buckets full of fruits
At this stage of vegetation, the vegetables in the garden are growing vigorously. The tomato fruits are ripening, and the flowering continues, indicating that there will be many more fruits. This situation is similar with cucumbers, zucchini, and other vegetables in the garden. Plants draw nutrients from the soil, so feeding is now essential if we want a good yield. If the conditions are not suitable for the plants, they will show us with slowed growth, changes in the leaves, drying of the flowers, small fruits, and the like. These are the first signals that they need help. To avoid issues at this stage, supplementary feeding is urgently needed. Frequent use of artificial fertilizers can adversely affect the growth and development of plants. That's why we choose natural ingredients. We make a mixture of three ingredients.
Here is how we prepare yeast supplements for plants in a 5-gallon bucket. The first ingredient we add is a handful of white sugar, you can also use brown sugar. Then we put 20 grams of dry yeast in 6 to 8 liters of warm water. After mixing everything well, leave it to rest for 2 hours. After 2 hours stir it again, and the solution is ready for watering.
Immediately water the vegetables in the garden with this solution. It's important not to let the solution stand, but to use it immediately. Then, prepare new quantities of this fertilizer as needed.
The question is, what is the role of yeast in the vegetable garden? Yeast is often used in gardening for its nutrients and beneficial microorganisms. What are the effects of yeast? Adding yeast in the form of liquid fertilizer to the soil can provide plants with important additional nutrients and encourage their growth, flowering, and fruit set. The ingredients in the yeast also stimulate the work of microorganisms in the soil. Vitamin B promotes lush leaves, preventing them from turning yellow or drying out, and overall strengthening the plant. Yeast also promotes flowering and fruit formation. Just as the dough rises with yeast, so do fruits. By using this liquid fertilizer, we can expect larger and more abundant fruits. To achieve these results, plants in the garden are fed with yeast 2 to 3 times a season, especially during the hot summer months when feeding needs are highest. Dry and fresh yeast can be used to prepare liquid fertilizer. We originally applied yeast to feed the flowers, following advice from a florist, which resulted in healthier, better-blooming plants. Encouraged by this success, I began using yeast in the vegetable garden as well. Yeast is truly effective as a supplement, with many considering it comparable to mineral fertilizers. Additionally, yeast is readily available and cost-effective. And that’s it.

Wow, a gardening video that isn't 15 minutes long ! Thank you
Yes, finally. Concise, clear and compelling video; with the recipe in succinct form.
I'm going too do this with my beans and peas 🎉I want to see the explosion 💥💥👍👍
Would my sour Doug starter work?
Where's this Field?
I use milk, sour cream or yogurt that has gone bad and mix it with water. Bacteria are good for the soil.
I add any leftover or spoiled milk products to my compost heap.
So I can use my sourdough starter discard in place of yeast?!?
Thanks for sharing that
Wow! Thank you for that
@@cwilson6880 yes, it is a live culture of wild yeast.
😂 It's basically a weak version of LAB (latic acid bacteria). Add milk (or your old milk) to the solution. Let sit for a few days. Now you've really add bacteria that will break down organic matter to release nutrients in the soil. I also use it in my hot composting to speed up decomposition.
you put yeast, milk and sugar as a boost for your plants?
Casano stop
@@delucastudios3097the video explained the yeast and sugar. Old milk is full of lactobacillus which breaks down organic matter. All of these wind up going through earthworms guts and ends up being very good natural organic fertilizer. Un sulfured, blackstrap molasses is another excellent soil microbial boost.
How much milk?
@@Katgirl2024 There are plenty of videos explaining it better. I believe they use equal volume rice wash (starch water) to milk. I freestyle it because I'm typically using expired milk, sour cream, or yogurt. It all ferments to create lactic acid bacteria. Ironically enough it doesn't stink. It has a sweet odor.
Make a green manure mix. Take weeds, crush them up, add to a bucket of water, wait a week or so, pour on soil at the roots. No yeast mold, no nasty smell. Best nutrition for plants. More plants.
I lay my cut grass clippings on bare soil spots in my yard, does a good job of putting nutrition back in the soil.
Before watering and fertilizing plants, I poke holes into the earth around the plant or use a shovel to open the ground,so that the liquid will go into the ground and not run off the surface or quick evaporate which it does in hot weather.
Thanks for your recipe.
great tip
My thoughts exactly as I watched the supplement run off
Add mulch to prevent excess evaporation and run off.
I tried this and my cucumbers went ape, lol, this really works I was impressed. Thank you for the explanation as to how the yeast works.
Awesome Video and straight to the point ☝️.... Your video received five stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐✌️😎( Lantana Gardens of Jacksonville Florida...
i did this exactly as directed and it almost killed off my plants , my cukes formed a fuzzy wrap around the blooms !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Guessing you had bad microbes (fungus) in your soil, and this just fed them.
The yeast is great as fertilizer but the flies love it. The flies will show up in hundreds and you will have to put fly catch bags.
No. I did this no flies.
Best neighbor ever
WOW. EASY.
NICELY PRESENTED AND EXPLAINED.
THANK-YOU!!
Do not fall for this non-sense.....
Add 1 tablespoon of dried yeast to a quart jar with 2 tablespoons of sugar set over nite
U can add
1 tablespoons of Ground up egg shell powder
1 tablespoon Wood Ash
1/2 teaspoon of Epsom salt
Mix in a 5 g gallon of warm water
Add 1 cup per plant
Do you know how often this should be done? And do you use this instead of your regular fertilizer or along with your regular fertilizer? Thank you if you know the answer
@@thatsjustrong7618 I’ll have to rewatch that RUclips video to find out how often…I just recently mixed mine up and used it. So I’ve only put it on all my flowers and vegetables once. I had just added my all purpose and acid fertilizer to my flowers before I added this.
@@Pinkvictors Thank you so much for getting back to me I really do appreciate that. Happy gardening
The Wood Ash would make it too alkaline. Needs lower pH for optimal nutrient take up.
Another cheap and highly effective addition to this mixture is to ass a small amount of B-Complex Vitamin water, I make mine by crushing a standard B-Complex tablet and dissolving it in 7 gallons of water. B vitamins are essentially plant hormones packaged for our consumption in tablet form, and are the same as the root stimulation and growth booster used to reduce transfer and planting stress on newly transferred plants of all ages. I would add my mixture at 20% with this yeast mixture trick. Good video, I have seen this work in other mixtures and found it in old books but hadn't used it like this before.
7 gallons of water to 1 tablet?
Isn’t that what yeast is? B-vitamins?
So what type of yeast is used to make this solution? Is it the common baking yeast or which one?
This is a great tip. Thanks
"Exploding" plants video right in time for 4th of July. Well played 👏
of course
4 gallon water
1/4 cup sugar
2 packs of yeast
Never heard of this!
add flour and make bread :)
@@unnikrishnan-hi3ib 🤣😂🤣😂🤣🤣
🤣👌@@unnikrishnan-hi3ib
Because its BS
Thanks!
Yes. Just like other beings plants enjoy a decent meal no matter the source. Sometimes these weak things are better than nothing. Sometimes it takes more nutrient density. Thank you. Stay safe.
I make my own sourdough bread…. Therefore every week I have some sourdough left for my garden… I dissolve it with water and give it to the plants… same ingredients, more variety of microorganisms though. Microorganisms are also able to store water… so in summer it is even more important to add to the dried out soil… in yr garden I would suggest to use some mulch in order to keep the microorganisms happy… ❤
Very economical plant food. Thank
Besides fresh yeast, can I use out of date yeast?
Thank you for sharing this information. God bless you. ❤
And ppl bag and throw away their grass clippings put it in a big trash gan fill above clippings water stir everyday let sit in sun only adding water as needed when water and grass turns dark start taking out and mixing with twice as much water put it on everything black gold.
I will not put Sugar in my garden. Sugar is the enemy. Bad video
Why is that?
@wendypalomov I don't want sugar ANYWHERE near my veggies. Anything you put into the growth of something then it will be in the make up of it. I put all kinds of diff minerals in mine so that when I eat it,I get all the minerals inserted into my body. Plants are just like us. Whatever they are fed becomes them. We are what we eat.
You're either trolling or really ignorant. I'm not sure which, though.
Thanks for sharing your beautiful garden tour with us. Love the garden and thanks for all the great information also
Which terror group was behind the garden explosion? Do the authorities know?
Pure nonsense. No reasons for this to work.... unless you want to grow your own bread.
God has never created a plant I can’t kill!
Nah... Get a cactus and don't touch it.
You sound exactly like my sister
Me, I have 20 plus house plants.
Its an addiction 😃
Dandylions😂
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
43 plants in my house….
Sorry, went according to recipe but it just drew hundreds of flies, big green nasty ones into my flower beds, and l noticed no improvement in the plants. It may very well be the type of soil, which is heavy and clay like, but l did use potting soil and small pebbles when planting. At any rate, this was not effective for my plants.
"Just as the dough rises with yeast, so do fruits" Why did that make me burst out a laugh?
Idiotic statement as no real scientific basis for its superiority. In fact yeast will feed on the sugars creating carbon dioxide (which makes dough rise but not fruits) which dissolves in the water making an acidic solution which some plants will NOT like.
1) is this a supplement to use along with regular fertilizer?
2) clematis vine is an alkaline lover … can this be used for clematis?
3) my first time visiting your channel, thanks, and yes of course I supported the video
(I just hope 🤞that you answer my questions)
✨💖✨
Can I also use this when planting Moringa seed? Thank you 🙏
I did that my plants got burned
Can this fertilizer be use on fruit trees?
No, unfortunately the Gods would become angered. 😁
This seems highly scientifically suspect.
KEEP CREATING💯🔥✅️
YOUR SENTENCE" FIVE GALONS BUCKET" WAS CONFUSING.
MUST START " TAKE 6 LITERS OF WATER" THEN ADD INGREDIENTS. .....!
SUGSR, YEAST .😁😎🤔
After baking bread with yeast and sugar and water how long do you wait to eat the bread .
Not long at all for me. Homemade bread. Sounds good
Can this be used in hydroponic gardens too?
In another video about this mix the guy says to let it sit overnight and let the yeast ferment with the sugar for best results. But in this video, it says it’s important not to let it sit to use it right away, so can you explain why?
Wow I learn.. thanks.. watching from glecious tv channel ur new subscriber
How can I get rid of snails for good from my patio. They're everywhere. I can't use pallets as I have the neighbor's cats coming all day and don't want them to think those are treats. Can't sprinkle salt on the concrete tiles as I was told it damages them. Hard to manage everything now after losing my dear husband and I've ended up with a bad leg. Gardening on the patio was our relaxation 😢
Yeast makes plants rise? 👍⭐️
😂😂🤣🤣🤣😂
It would be great if plant will rise overnight.

Oh I can use ma sourdough starter ✨✨✨
I was curious the same. I’m gonna try it
Yep, all my excess goes into the compost heap for the worms.
What do I do with leftover yeast liquid? Can I dimp it in my flower garden?
I found 21 grams of yeast with a best used by date of 10/2022. Is this still good for this purpose. Won’t be used until July 2024.
You said so much without saying anything scientific... You kept repeating, yeast this yeast that
Shouldn't the water be somewhat warm in order to energize the yeast?
he mentioned warm water
Yep he mentioned warm water 😊
Im not sure calling this a fertilizer is correct, It more introduces or feeds the micro bacteria who convert what's in the soil to something plant available.
I’m definitely going to try this. Thanks for sharing!
Lucky to have all that real estate for a garden!
I have 2 acres
It can be daunting
Summer is alot of work
everyone should if they want to, imo
I scraped together everything I could for a few years that I had after paying bills. I bought just about nothing that wasn't essential. I bought almost 5 acres with a mobile home, with no mortgage for less than I paid for my first new car. I believe GOD absolutely led me, and opened the door for my mountain property, so salvation by JESUS and prayer is key.

Doesn’t yeast attract snails and slugs?
is that a reason why people dont use it?
You can use mustard cake fertilizer....but the fertilizer smell bad till you apply...once it dried then there's no smell but trust me you'll see the difference within week
Where can I buy mustard cake fertiliser? Would like to try using it.
You can leave a container filled with beer and the slugs will go for that and drown
A very good question. I will try this in my garden and observe the slug reactions.
Slugs are attracted to hear and fermented rice water and they soon drown in the bowl of the liquid. In case of this I believe the fermentation stops half way as soon as the liquid yeast and sugar is poured in the soil so there's nothing to attract the slugs. I will keep in mind to try it though and O will let you know.
Is the sugar necessary? I have an ant problem.
Yeast will eat sugar
It activates the yeast
Ask way too much money for the device, no emails please!!!
i will be trying this real soon!!!!! fall garden needs a push.
I love how you've created such a peaceful and productive environment!
Can’t you just buy worm castings and put it in the soil before planting the tomatoes?
Thank you. I enjoy your videos. They are short and to the point
So just water down my sourdough starter waste cool
I tried that once. Should give it another chance.

Remind me not to use this then..
Dont want my plants to explode🥲.
I have recently found out that all yeast is now genetically modified. For that reason, I won't use this recipe. I have comfrey in my garden that I make a "tea" out of to use on my plants. Comfrey promotes new cell growth and has been used since Roman times.
Wah! I did not know that this plant could be this beneficial
If you have wild yeast from home made sour dough bread, you can use this yeast. It is not GMO
Can you please point me in the direction to learn about all yeast being GMO?
Do u eat tomatoes or corn? Both are 2 if the most naturally genetically modified plants in the world. I repeat… genetic modification done by Mother Nature.
Don’t buy into the hype. People cannot provide a single long term study of any harmful effect using genetically modified products. If u have a peer reviewed scientific study please post the link

Does adding sugar lead to more ants ?
Thank You greatful to have you 😁💖
How do you get rid of ants around the plant😢😢😢
The concoction is hated by ants. Fermentation brau!
what about the gnats the sugar would draw them.
I love it 2024 23 09 thanks
The sugar feeds the microbes/miccrorizie in the soil!! Great idea.
The feeds the bacteria in the yeast, so that the multiply before the go into the ground
Thank you, I'll try it.
Great share
This sounds like a great way to attract a ton of ants
The yeast consumes the sugars
Thats why he has it stand for 2 hours b4 using it
Same as Kombucha
Sugar is used to ferment the beverage, but the culture eats the sugar and the end product is rather sour, not sweet.
@@cheesecakefan4880 Good to know. This mixture would probably repel ants rather than attract.
Nope
How often do you do this? Do you keep fertilizing the way you have been and just use this as an extra boost?
Whats the science behind this? Is there a nutrition breakdown? NPK?
How about common sense, knowledge and experience, who needs science!!
Nitrogen
WHAT KIND of yeast?
Baking yeast that we use to make bread, or
NUTRITIONAL yeast that we take as a dietary supplement???
