Really enjoying watching your videos. Very glad i found your channel. Keep up the amazing work and always looking forward to your next hiking adventure 😊
Awesome to see you hike this place. I've been here before and I agree that the trails aren't marked so you can get mixed up. I always enjoy your videos because you point out so many interesting details about the ruins.
Hi Sarah, thank you for the kind words. I watch your channel often and always enjoy how you are able to capture the overall vibe of a trail or state park. For me, it's almost like watching I'm watching a review prior to making the decision whether or not to venture out there. In fact, I believe that watched your video at Rolling Hill when you where there. Yes, very difficult to navigate : /

This is indeed so very heartwarming and so very wonderful and so very beautiful and so very adorable and this brings back such great memories of when I use to be a 90s kid and an early 2000s kid and I am a new subscriber as well:).
@@robertyoung1726 Hi Robert, Oh yeah, very confusing trails. I was so thirsty by the time I got back to my car. Note to self: always bring water...lol Thanks for watching, my friend!
Without you filming hikes/places like these I wouldn't be able to enjoy as much ever since I had a stroke 1 1/2 years ago affecting my mobility to explore more, thank you soo much!
Hi Neal, I’m so sorry to hear about your stroke a year and a half ago. Wishing you all the best in your recovery and hoping you can stay positive throughout the journey. I’m glad to hear you enjoy my videos, and I really appreciate you letting me know. Thank you so much for watching, my friend
These are my local running trails. Glad you enjoyed the park and the ruins Jen. Next time you are in the area check out the Saunders Woods Preserve, there's an old spring mill you would probably enjoy, as well as some other things. If you want a guide next time hit me up. Sage
Hi Sage, Saunders Woods, huh? Looking into it and plan on checking it out soon! I'm not too far from that area, so yeah, I would very much like to meet up for a tour. That is if you you're not expecting me to keep up with you while your running....lol...you're much too fast for me : )
Interesting walk. Whether you knew it or not, that’s some extremely high value property near there. In fact, the large property bordering it near the creek is part of the former Dorrance estate. Jack Dorrance was the owner of Campell Soup co. and my dad’s boss all through the 1970’s.
Hi Dale, I knew that Gladwyne was a wealthy area, but I had no idea how wealthy or that the park I was in such close in proximity. What's really nice about parks like Rolling Hill is that while hiking, everyone rich, poor, or middle class is simply out enjoying the outdoors. Thanks for the comment. It's always nice learning more about an area I've explored.
Hi Joel I do use bug spray and always check for ticks when I get home Never heard of permethrin...may have to check it out Thank you for watching, my friend
@@jennsylvania1633 first learned about Permethrin a long time ago in the military. Soak clothes, let dry, and it kills ticks. Even being paranoid about tick-borne diseases, I have had Lyme twice after moving back to Pennsylvania... thankfully my doc is good and identified it quickly with blood tests. Treated with months of doxycycline both times.... it is life changing and I hope nobody has to go thru it. Nothing to be trifled with. It was horrible and the lasting effects do not seem to go away. Please be careful, we're in a hot zone for it.
On trais that go off in all directions. With the concern of getting lost. Maybe a good idea to learn how to use a compass. Had to say that. Just kidding! Another very good video. And history lessons. Thumbs Up!
