Thinking of doing the 75 soft. Sounds like it would be more doable for me. I need to work on my commitments to myself. Maybe i can just do my own version for 75 days of commitments. Then i can move on to the app. I'm excited to get started. Gonna get a notebook and get my plan in motion so i can track myself. Im like Hope and like pen and paper and making lists. 😊 😊😊😊

I recommend making it doable for you! Something that pushes you slightly out of your comfort zone, but still be a challenge! Let’s goooooooo!

I started 75 soft yesterday. It took three tries to read my 10 pages because I kept falling asleep 😮

@@MissionKeto I JUST sent Lindy a text lol 😂 I am going to join, but not the actual 75 hard again. For reasons of my own, I need a less restrictive challenge. ;) I’ll come up with my plan & shoot you a IG message. I’m definitely IN! 🙌🏼 I need this & definitely some positive direction.

75 Hard has a lot of problems with it. Too much focus on mandatory exercises that raise the risk of injury, fatigue and overtraining significantly (exercise only accounts for 5% of TDEE by the way so it's a terrible strategy for weight loss). No focus on quality of sleep (essential for recovery, detox and where you lose most of your weight). No focus on changing relationship with food. Does not establish sustainable habits (it's extremely restrictive and equality aggressive. A gallon of water without electrolytes while performing two 45 minutes workouts daily with one required to be outside?? Sounds like cramp/headache city)
Here's a better more sustainable solution if your goal is weight loss:
Lift weights a maximum of twice a week with at least two days of active rest in-between. Fasted/fed doesn't matter whatever works best for you. Lift heavy on machines and moderate on free weights and keep sets low, max 2 with however many reps to get close to failure for each set. Compound movements are best but do whatever you enjoy and allows you to get a good workout. You do NOT need to be sore the next day to have a good workout. Progressive overload not necessary but encouraged. Track your progress.
Walk! After meals ideally for 10-20 minutes helps with digestion and insulin response. There is no magic number of steps. Just walk however you can (outside, treadmill, walking pad). It's good for your mental health too!
Pick a diet that works for you and is sustainable for the rest of your life. Be honest about how much food you are putting in your face each day. Strictly count your calories and keep them at your preferred deficit for a week and eat the same thing every day during that week. You'll start to figure our portions and won't need to count calories eventually and that's the goal. Do this as many times as you want with different meal variations spending one week eating the same amounts and things each time.
Weigh yourself at the same time everyday. Be ok with earth telling you how much you weigh that day. Remember overall weight does NOT distinguish between water, muscle, fat or everything else that makes up your body. Average your overall weight every 7 days. If your overall weight average is going up after the 7 days then cut 250 calories from your daily calorie count and do another 7 days with the same food. Figuring out your current TDEE is very empowering.
Take measurements every week or two. Track your progress with pictures/videos is a bonus. Body dysmorphia is real so having empirical evidence of your progress is nice to look back on.
Find a topic that interest you and read some books/watch videos on it. Don't worry about how much you spend per day but make some time each day where you commit to yourself to sit down and take some time to yourself to either do breath work, relaxation, watching videos or reading.

What is the app called that you refer to for 75 hard? Sounds challenging for sure.

    • @MissionKeto

It’s called 75 Hard. The logo is a 75 in the middle of a white spade. Like a playing card.
