There are only 2 ways to have fun in ow, 1. Play heroes that suck the fun out of other heroes and never forget to t bag ex, Moira, , mauga, bastion, junk,( ball and sym(if u want to suck the fun out of both enemy and your team)) 2. Press uninstall
Really makes me sad that after 7 years of experience with this game they still release trash like this. There are so many people trying to figure out solutions for the existing problems (e.g. Spilo's videos on balancing all the roles) and whenever the devs actually talk to the public they pretend to listen, but they don't. I still have Mercy in what feels like 90% of my games. Still completely braindead character, requires zero skill, having more impact by standing still than any tank or DPS ever. Orisa is the same boring trash she was 5 seasons ago. The Hog rework changed nothing... And they keep on adding to the list. At this point a new hero is basically guaranteed to ruin comp for half the season when they are released. People are always talking about the monetization, the lack of "content" (whatever that even means), but I think the only thing that can actually hurt this game is the balancing.
Tbf, Mercy is common in part due to how many people have fun on her. It's similar to Ana. People love her movement. As long as she has that, she'll be popular even if she isn't meta.
@@Chr0n0s38 I'm sure there's some truth to that, but I don't think that really changes anything. My issue is that Mercy is just not fun to play with or against and has no depth and I think that doesn't fit with a competitive game. The reason I mentioned her high pickrate (at least in my own experience), is that I think fixing Mercy should have higher priority, because I encounter her a lot. Characters like torb or sym or widow are also annoying, but I don't see them nearly as often, so they won't keep me from playing the game.
@@joenutzz420_ Fair enough, though truth be told I don't know how fixable she is. Season 3's healing change was probably the closest they'll get to fixing the pocket issue and it was way worse. Maybe her heal lingers when she changes targets? Damage boost is tricky too, it should go, I just have no clue what it gets replaced with that would feel any better.
@@Chr0n0s38 Yeah, I honestly don't think you can rework her into a proper character. At this point that's like making a brand new hero. But I also wouldn't mind having a character in the game that is really low skill and easy to pick up. I think Mercy is great for all the friends or other potential teammates who have no experience with fps. I just think that a character like that should never be viable in comp at all and players who want to take the game more serious should be encouraged to learn the other supports in order to improve. So maybe just remove dmg boost and call it a day.
@@joenutzz420_ The problem with that is she does have a reasonably high skill ceiling in her movement. It's certainly easier in OW2, but there's still a lot to it. Honestly every character should be viable. But not every character should be meta. The thing with Mercy is that she isn't meta due to her own balance, she becomes meta when hitscan is meta.
to be fair the mage mode has very decent damage, a slim hitbox and shield can mitigate cardiac overdrive, but as soon as you get pressured into nemesis you're toasted
The shield is so brief. Mauga can just bait it and then melt you. I'm maining Mauga since release and Ram is so free i genuinely feel bad lol. I wait behind cover for the duration of shield and then just go all in. He has no answer, no damage, nothing. He can't ult if i'm alive either. Staff dps is 125 and he has 450 health in that form. Mauga does around 230dps and has TONS of health, overhealth gain, lifesteal if he wants to use cardiac. Long range, short range doesn't matter. Mauga does more and receives less. @@josewolf9884
You could have at least included 4 tips on how to play mauwgua, adressed his weaknesses as a character and advised us to play to his strengths and reminded us the value of taking corners.
You were supposed to help destroy the Maugas, not join them. Bring balance to our Sr’s. Not leave them in darkness.
Now give us 4 tips to have fun

don’t play ranked 24/7 is probably the best tip

Step 1: Press M1
Step 2: Press M2
Step 3: Aim at enemy Tank
Step 4: Repeat
It's pretty funny how the first tip is the exact opposite of your comment.
Step 3 is wrong. You dont have to aim
My fault my fault I got over zealous.
Step 1 - Shoot
Step 2 - Run
Step 3 - Repeat
No way spilo made another video about mauga, i never thought it would happen
I appreciate your videos man keep it up 👍🔥
Step 1 buy mauga
Step 2-4 win
What’s step 2?
@@sci-fisamurai1594 BRRRRRRRRRRR. That's step 2 :)
