oh Noddy you guys may not have been a big hit in North America but you definitely left an indelible mark on a lot of us, you guys are still one of my most favourite bands to this day...thank you all for the many years of pure enjoyment
You just have to love a song that the entire audience can sing along with. This song ranks right up there with Queen's "We Will Rock You"....just an inane joy of a song.
My favorite rock band Slade. I saw them when they opened for Johnny Winter at the London Gardens in London Ontario Canada. They were the reason I went to that concert I never did care for Johnny Winter.
How many people realise SLADE are the third most successful British band, for chart success. Only the Beatles & Rolling Stones have had more number 1s and top 40 positions. It may be many well over forty years ago, but from 1971-74 they simply dominated the record industry. It takes great music to achieve that.
Slade we’re the best band around. Not pretentious big heads just local lads who are great musicians and Noddy had/has the greatest rock voice ever. 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
Dont care what anybody says! Noddy Holder is one of the top two greatest rock voices EVER!!!!! Who is the other? Brian Johnson of AC/DC! All the rest are trying to be them! What makes them better than the rest is that both of them could shred effortlessly. It was God given!
The interviewer did his best to try to show the band as a bunch of violent yobbos, which of course they were not. I don't think ive ever seen a more misleading interview than this. Good on ya Nod, the age may have passed but we still remember.
Love my country hate its leaders but unfortunately the reasons for Slades lack of acceptance in America is twofold 1. The media never understood hard rock/heavy metal 2. The country as a whole is musically shallow with a short attention span
The interviewer at times, was being very unprofessional, not appreciating guests give these programs their ratings, and advertising dollars. And for a rowdy rock star, Noddy held himself most admirably.
Hell, Quiet Riot owes their whole career to Slade. Take "Cum On Feel the Noise" and "Mama Weer All Crazy Now" away from them and they would've been nothing.
Run Runaway..A Great Video From A Great Band SLADE..Noddy abd the boyz..👍
Underappreciated band in my opinion. And Noddy had one of the best, most distinctive rock-and-roll voices ever.
Underappreciated because their catalogue has been overshadowed by their own Christmas song.
@@tcaudiobooks737 shut up.
Not at all they had 6 number 1s
I would call that underappreciated!!
Недооценённая критиками разве что... миллионы поклонников по всему миру дают этой великой группе высшую оценку! Слушаю их уже 51 год

Morning shows should have things like this these days...not conceited women sitting around a table and clucking about politics and fads.
Great energy it rocks

You're absolutely right. I was speaking on behalf of this side of the pond. I hope they got the accolades they deserved at home :)
he is almost 78 now 😵💫
Goooooöd!
Is that Big Ron from Eastenders holding the Caber?!
Wäre nett wenn ihr solche Interviews auf deutsch übersetzen könntet. Danke und viel Erfolg an noddy folder.

I think Alan Partridge might have fashioned his look off this presenter.

Tom Baker (Dr. Who) - Noddy, seperated at birth.
They had two other brothers; David Coverdale and Barry Foster.
@@reclaimerReclaimer and a sister: Amy Poehler
It's Allan partridge!!
Nope. Adrian Mills. Look him up x
Pity he never wears his famous mirror hat in any of the tv interviews
I thought this song was a hit in the USA.

Who is this group you speak of?
firstmusic00 I do agree brother every song they had was slayed
Nah, they covered some of their songs but QR had some great hits they wrote themselves. Both great bands.
Noddy Holder actually rejected AC/DC when they sadly had to replace Bon Scott.
Yer late 30s . Noddy was born in 46
Yes, so that would make noddy 38 here.
Mid 30s???
Not bad for a Sassenach!
Noddy mitico ❤❤
