PART ONE Noddy Holder from Slade on "This Is Your Life" in 1996. He is seen together with wife Suzan, daughters Jessica and Charisse and son Django. Also, appearing are Suzi Quatro, Gary Glitter, Roy Wood (Wizzard), Toyah Willcox, Reeves & Mortimer and Alan "Fluff" Freeman. Not forgetting Slade members Dave Hill, Don Powell and Jim Lea!

IMO Noddy Holder has the best voice of rock ever.
In the It's Slade documentary, Ozzy says that Noddy has one of the greatest rock voices ever. The only way you could try to argue that is if you have never heard a Slade song.

I sawSlade countless times in clubs, concert halls, festivals and met the band in the changing rooms at Rotters a night club in Manchester. They were in my opinion one of the best bands of all the glam rock bands of the seventies and eighties.🏴🏴🏴🏴😎🎸👍😁🏴🤓
Noddy, you were one of the best rock voices. Years ago a friend of mine put on a Slide album to wake up, and your voice did the job!

Slade are a good time rock and roll band. This American is so appreciative of the music from across the pond. Noddy is the coolest. Most of the new music sounds depressing. Music should be fun, like Slade.

Congratulations, your band must have been very good. Here in the U.S. , Slade weren't really well known until Quiet Riot covered Cum on Feel the Noize. Glad they did so I could discover their music. Seem as nice as their music.

I just turned 44 and I discovered Slade about 6 weeks ago. I think they are awesome.

Way back when ...his voice could have been a good replacement for the late ACDC front man Bon Scott (in my opinion)
Fair comment. Missy can throw a song! But Bon Scott was sadly irreplaceable and whoever took over from him had to make that gig his own. Many guys could have done it? And to be honest most stadium rock bands need a vocalist not a singer. There's a difference?

Noddy is a nickname....his name is Neville but he would always nod his head if you said hello to him...nothing to do with Enid Blyton
The nickname "Noddy" sounds more like a gnomes name.
His received a walk of star pavement on Broad street Birmingham few year ago
He was offered the job as lead singer of AC/DC and turned it down.
