I'm predicting they're gonna name the team the Utah Yeti with purple as their primary color.

Black diamonds is a ski term, one of the higher level of difficulty for a trail. Seems kinda lame

I'm with you on Swarm. It ties into the beehive state, they can nickname Delta Center "The Hive"... I think it has marketing potential.
Swarm, Outlaws, Mammoth, and Venom were my 4 alterative votes - Yeti doesn't need my help, it's gonna get a ton of votes regardless lol. It's up there for me, though.

Yep, I picked Swarm (my number 1 choice), Yeti / Mammoth / Outlaws in the survey, I think it might end up being Blizzard though, the same double ZZ as the NBA Utah Jazz that they also own.

Utah was home to Butch Cassidy and the Hole in the Wall gang. So outlaws would fit. I prefer something based on the beehive theme.

How about the carpet baggers or the Hobbos

Mammoth, Outlaws & Mountaineers are the only ones i like. It seems like they asked 3rd graders to come up with names.

So Hockey Club isn't considered anymore? That was the only one I really did not like.

"Squall" rhymes with "Shawl". Too many abstract weather terms, imo.

Usually when you hear the term squalls, it is most associated with snow squalls. It is a very quick hit of heavy snow with gusty winds during or right after it. Think of a brief white out that lasts only minutes and just as fast clears out. I agree this would not be a good name for a hockey team.
