I finally found a way to set up RUclips and Instagram so that they don't distract me, without limiting myself in using them!
Apps/Extensions mentioned in the video:
For iOS:
UnTrap, to remove distractions on RUclips: apps.apple.com...
StopTheMadness, for better video quality and disabling autoplay: apps.apple.com...

For Android Users:
Note: Extensions do not work on Chrome mobile. You may have to install a browser called Kiwi to use these extensions on mobile, although I've never tried this browser before and can't vouch for it.
