Mike - you make a good ambassador for flexwing flying. It seems to be a very immersive experience, closer to nature than many other forms of flying. Great vid - many thanks.
Thanks Liam! You're too kind!! Yes, it's a fantastic form of flying - I tend to think of it as the difference between a car and motorbike - I love that we have such unrestricted views and 'feel' much more of the flying experience 😀
Great to see more content from you, Mike. I'm sitting here in the motorhome at Darley Moor after a superb week of training every single day. It was great to fly with Giles for the first time, and to top it off I've just heard that my Peabee isn't far away from delivery. Life is good! Enjoy the new season, hope to catch you one day - we'll compare flexwing grins. 👍😁

Awesome to hear you're starting your training ☺️ Wish you the very best with that 😁 Best advice I can offer on how long it will take is to be patient, it will take as long as it takes, between flyable weather and how you progress. My own journey was 8 months (not counting some lockdown months!) and around 40 hours total. Everyone progresses at different rates though, so just enjoy your journey 👍😁
