Yes, and that's how they were fresh from the factory. After 50,000 miles you needed ear plugs and a litre of engine oil every week.

Gee, an extremely rare survivor of these great Simca 1307/8 and -9 facelift cars which where badged as Talbot 1510 on the mainland. I posses 4 of them. Luckely...

Yes I remember the Alpine rust bucket with the terrible engine noise along with the impossible gear changes but you could eventually find 1st and the body shell was allergic to rain water.
