Is Metrolink's Orange County stopped at Oceanside and then turned back to LA? I always thought that at Oceanside Metrolink turns back north and Coaster heads south to San Diego

When did the Amtrak Surfliners start stopping in Carlsbad? I used to live there and don't recall them ever stopping, rather blasting thru the station at track speed... I noticed from the video, at 6:40, a northbound Surfliner stopped, but the rest just sailed on thru... Has Amtrak added Carlsbad on some Surfliner trips??
Great videos of Amtrak s Pacific Surfliners, the Coaster, Metrolink & the Sprinter commuter trains even though the Sprinter is assigned to the Oceanside to Escondido route. I travel long distance by Amtrak trains. It would be great if our country had a high speed passenger train network like what Japan has. If our country had a high speed passenger train network like what Japan has I would be traveling to the Civilized San Diego metro area 8 times a year from the Sh@thole, Barbarian, Loser City Tucson metro area in anti passenger train, anti commuter train Arizona & also would ride to Los Angeles & Ventura on the high speed passenger trains if our country had a high speed passenger train network like Japan has.

Oceanside is only several miles north so the southbound trains haven't reach top speed yet. The northbound trains have been running since Solana Beach over 10 miles away so they're already at top speed. Hopefully the new Siemens Chargers will improve acceleration substantially.
really well I was told as of 2014 they don't stop anymore due too low passenger service plus guy told me that coaster trains were late cause of Amtrak stopping there so who knows
