Railfanning Carlsbad Village 10/13/23 Feat. NCTC 2301 New Wrap, Coaster Doubleheader, Amtrak & More!

- NCTC 2301 was known for its wrap falling apart, it had been showing parts of its original paint scheme on the front nose but recently, NCTD Mechanical replaced its original wrap and put a brand new wrap on and now it looks brand new on the front. Also, the first coaster of the morning on this day, NCTC 2303 was running w/ No PTC all the way to San Diego, after its run on Coaster 621, NCTD mechanical switched sets around and then brought NCTC 2303 out later on Coaster 640.

What happened did 2303 not have PTC?
They’re PTC was having issues so dispatch allowed them to run to San Diego w/ out PTC

2303 has gotten weaker with its horn it seems like.
