The movie was a good curve, cause he’s a really good Gangster actor so this movie was perfect cause throughout the movie I was expecting the gangster to jump out of him but he played the normal guy perfectly in it, I was kind of happily upset at the end😂😂😂

I could be wrong but I think the script makes the aggrieved person retired special forces, fbi, or whatever as a shortcut to say they’re already a badass to quickly get over the need for a long training sequence.

The guy who played Ki te was in a Korean tv show called A Korean Odyssey as an assistant to one of the main characters and a doting father. It's funny seeing a completely different personality type as a complete 180 from a typecast portrayal.
It is actually kinda boring. I'd recommend a lot of other Korean/Asian movies before coming to this one. I saw the devil, the raid 1 and 2, the swordsman, the killer, are all much better. Most are also free on tubi or plex

Well remember that it's near impossible to have guns in Korea. They are almost all hunting or used for competition - and you have to store them at the local police station. Without guns far fewer murders. (Intimidation and assaults, yes but not murders).

The actor is well known for his gangster characters. He's a really good actor. You might recognize him from The Eternals movie as Gilgamesh.

Absolutely great movie. If you saw Train to Busan you should recognize Ma Dong Seok (and the wife is played by Jihyo, who is on Running Man).
