Bud Brisbois is very special. From my earliest days of listening, playing, collecting albums, arranging....He was always one of my favorite "usual suspects"....
He sang live, accompanied by an orchestra, hovering over a moving camera, moving from very high notes to very low notes. I felt like I was listening to Frank Sinatra. And there are still people who say that this man was not talented. But please, as they say in Italy! Jerry Lewis had a HUGE talent!
@3:45 it all begins. Jerry Lewis always loved breaking "the fourth wall" He was Terrific! Jerry Lewis was a genius, the ultimate entertainer, and a precious human being. RIP 💗, Jerry.

The same type of Chapman Electra camera crane is still used today (2022) in NYC for “Saturday Night Live.”
OMG! Back when TV was Fun....and dangerous. Nobody's does it like Jerry, such a comic talent with great showbiz chops. Love this cut!
I love this post, thank you!
I cannot count how many times I have and continue to watch it. Marvelous memory.
If he sang this properly, it would’ve been one of the best versions I heard. Instrumentals were cool as ice

i thought Bud was going to solo, i like the performance but i was disapointed
Bud was nice, but Jerry shouldn’t have used his Nutty Professor voice to sing this 🤣
