Looks great. Curious though, why did you stipple by hand if you have access to the laser machine? Satisfaction? Enjoyment? BTW, just installed a Johnny Glock Combat drop in in my 43x. I'm not affiliated. I being it up because I'm pretty sure I know how your stock 48 feels. It comes with an adjustable trigger for pretravel, and two striker springs lbs change, if that's for you. I have micro shakes when pulling a stock trigger, so his trigger makes a big difference.
There are several reasons really. I prefer the look of hand stippling, laser stippling requires a ton of work behind a computer screen making a design for each type/shape/ size frame you work on, laser stippling doesn’t cover an entire frame, and mainly hand stippling is just my thing lol. I’ve heard the Johnny Glock triggers are great. I’ve watched some of his videos, seems like he knows his stuff.
Hello, first off great vid… quick question, about how long should stippling last? I see everyone taking about doing it but not really mentioning how long it will last. Does it start losing texture after handling for a long time. I’m getting ready to do my EDC and wanted to get an idea before getting it done. Thank you
In my experience it doesn’t lose texture over time from normal carry and shooting. I have guns I shoot in matches that are stippled and they haven’t lost any noticeable “grippyness” The Sig modules are rough after the initial stippling and they tend to lose that harsh bite over time but that’s not a bad thing in my opinion.
Richard Cranium thanks man! I don’t know how much the laser was it belongs to my partner shop, Liberty Arms. It’s works excellent on Aluminum, steel, and glass. It’s a San Antonio fiber laser.
Love the 48. Just wish I'd waited & got the MOS version .
I’ve had mine milled for a Holosun 407k since this video.

@@tristarcustoms77 would it be an extra charge for two different stipple patterns on one frame? Saw talon sai's 43 and dig it.
