*you have to think of the grip this way! Game changer for when you get this…stop your slice ☑️ stop your hook ☑️*

This IS a game changer. Started doing this over a year ago and took my occasional slice basically out of play. Danny Maude said to feel like you're wringing a towel and that basically did it for me. I like your slider scale thought process of this. Very much a good way to go about this instead of the general 3 grips.

Agreed that this I a game changer.
For 30 years I had a weak/left grip. Unwittingly, I said eff it and went to a strong/right grip and have played the best golf of my life.
I didn't see this video before but he explains it and it makes sense. Good teacher.

Excellent explanation and demonstration Alex on getting a perfect golf grip! I set up with a neutral grip which works well when I go to attain a flat left wrist and bent back right wrist in my golf swing. This produces a nice "baby draw" or straight shot with all my clubs. Always find something of value in your videos Alex! Well Done!!

I took your advice on a previous vid where you suggest to close club face @2 degrees. I was having slicing issues so played a round 2 days later and hit some amazing long and straight drives. Now to take a major hazard on rightside fairway out of play just show an extra knuckle on left hand and try not to double cross myself , let er rip for a higher % chance of centre shot. Thanx to the coolest British utube teach!

Strong grip for me made big change in my play. I typically hit 91 to 94 where I slice a few and get myself in trouble. Yesterday hit 86, 45 front, 41 back with no slices. My drives were straight and longer as I wasn't afraid to unload. Same results with approach shots, much straighter.

1st, I really do like a lot of your vids n tips! Keep up the great work!
2nd, I'll def be tryn this tomorrow. I was workn with a similar tip a couple days ago on the course and it did seem to help on my last 3 drives of the day.
Here's the "but", though ... turning my hands felt "uncomfortable" or awkward and I felt like I was fighting the to keep the club head square through the swing. So couldn't I simply turn the club head already and use my normal, comfortable grip?
Lastly, we all already know that YOU hit the ball well and properly. So when you show the "corrected" grip and swing, of course the balls are gonna travel off well and straight! Have you ever considered bringing out some novice golfers for your vids, and go through correcting their swings? And there by showing more true and realistic results?
Thx for your time and I forward to perfecting my game with your tutelage!

I'm laughing because this is my grip theory, and the amount of people who debate with me its wrong is great banter. At address when I compress my normal grip but every length of club get a slighter clockwise/strong/righter . But the shot goes dead straight. No better feeling hitting a Hybrid or 7wood 220-240 yards dead target. I only ask for 3-4 of these shots every round. But treat every iron above 7iron as long and keep to closed grip. If it is pin high from 220 yards out, then it works form me👍
