Mines, Mine & cave diving, military vehicle restoration and now wreck diving! I love it. What a lot of people forget is we are all Islanders and are never more than 48 miles from the sea. I miss it when I am away from the coast and the ocean for too long. My dad and uncles were all in the RN and my ancestors were either merchant seamen or Bargees! Many thanks for posting!
Lovely clear footage Ben, feels like your down there looking at it all. Still some steam tubes in that boiler, amazing how it’s last with the seas in that area.👍
Very interesting vid. I appreciate you had ideal conditions and are experienced divers but are there any wrecks near the shore where you could snorkel dive to? Cheers
Thanks Ben, out of curiosity, what's the rough heading from the beach to get to the Steamship Grip from the "other side of the bay"? Would love to go and dive this with my son if there's a period of easterlies in the next month or so. Although with the weather like it has been this weekend, I don't even think even easterlies will calm anything right now!! 😂
Hiya Richard , if you message me on my Facebook page (search Ben o cam ) or email I can send you a little map. It’s quite tricky to find, but at low tide you can see the dark shape of the wreck from the top tiny carpark by the golf course accessible by poldu beach if you know where I mean. It’s off the beach by the church .
Absolutely marvelous id never of believed that was cornwall the sea was really clear
Yes throughly enjoy these shipwreck videos. Amazing what’s left on the sea floor after being there for years

Yes both of these you can snorkel too at low tide ! They are either side at gunwallow … you don’t need a license to snorkel the historic site either
@@BenoCam thanks. That is great to know.
