  • I saw a video featuring one of these really wild retro instruments and I just had to check it out for myself! And boy did it NOT disappoint! I imported this from Japan and I cannot wait to use it in some upcoming videos.
In the meantime, this video goes through my unboxing and trying it out for the very first time. There is a bit of a learning curve with this instrument, but I cover a bunch of snippets from different songs as I try out all the settings.

So I found one of these at a thrift store last summer. It was hanging on their wall. When I asked what they wanted for it, the worker lady pulled out her phone and looked it up, then told me it wasn't for sale. Guess she figured out it was worth a little bit more than they thought.

Wow! How weird! I wonder why they even have it displayed. Much better to let someone have it who would at least use it! Was that in the USA?

@@natesonemanduet8043 yeah, around Detroit. It was wild. A lot of cool stuff goes through there. I passed on a Magnus Organ there once too. It was a steal at $25 and I still kick myself over that one.

The one that got away will always haunt you, no doubt! 😆

This would be the "SynthAxe at home" or one of the variations of it. Only 100 units of the SynthAxe were produced with maybe 20 known functional examples which are owned by people to still exist.
