so happy you like them :) , ones at 1:55 , 2:55 , 6:41 those 3 are of course not at size you see for sale but were just an extra bonus i wanted to send, 9:45 and 12:01 are more size you could see for sale. 9:41 Mammillaria matudae was grown from seeds from my own cacti from its first flowering so it grown from seeds from my own collection, and finally 5:57 Trichocereus taquimbalensis it was separated from a grouping of 4 because they were punching holes in to each other reason a little curvy and not long put in own pot so has not had a lot time for loads roots. so happy they have all arrived in good condition esp maybe a little bit dirt but a little brush they be all good, really happy you liked them and they packaged well enough to survive the post. i send more in future but they are way off yet for size but they will have names and tags as these ones today were first experimental batch testing ways to grow them and what works best the 2nd years batch i did it all right and labeled as i went. wanted to send as a thank you for everything ive learned from you. have fun potting up :)

@@desertplantsofavalon really glad you like them and they settling in well. the ones with these times 1:55 , 2:55 , 6:41 are the ones what never had cold , they were in window so the ones closest may of got a bit cold, the rest them have experienced cold prob even close to freezing as i use heater a lot less this winter in the conservatory and as you can see they did well so i cannot see why they have issue at 5c as im sure they seen less but totally up to you just heads up how they were previously kept. but saying that it won't be long till those ones where 3 came from be ready for the back room with lower temps but one tray i think pot up in lighter soil mix as the soil bit heavy for my liking a bit much sand so not so ideal in colder temps esp end summer and needing them to dry out faster. happy to hear they doing well. yes the spines are huge, it was in grouping 4 and had divide them up as spines for putting holes in to the others, larges stem spines size cocktail sticks one you not want to fall on or fall on to you and its not easy pot up hardly anything holds back spines, a thank you to Lyn and Hans and as saying goes always room for one more or many more

I might help you to save space if the euphorbia is potted with a small tomato cage around it to hold up the long limbs.

don't class my self a great grower still learning but i try my best and experiment some times i get a load growing sometimes less and a lot info came from lyn how to look after them. ive moved from bag up pots and trays to trays with covers and a grow box to get them going heat / light and still learning to get conditions right. grew cacti 20 years ago when in school had long break and about 8-9 years ago i started to buy again and only the last 4-5 years ive been growing them from seed and sure a learning curve some good results some not. watch a lot lyn vids you soon get an idea how to look after different types and adjust that info to fit your location, don't be so tough on yourself you prob already pretty good

Nice. How do you grow cactus from seed?
Hi Phillip, Check out some of Lyn earlier vids, lyn goes through a few ways to grow from seed, i learn from them and few others and experimented what works best for me but still not all they time seeds will grow. i know grow mine in a grow box with heating mat and trays with covers but still adjusting to that way its finding right balance or not to wet and keeping it at that till they start to grow and then slowly bring humidity down till a stage to remove the covers. lyn's got some vids i think the vid called grown cacti from seeds. hope that helps
