This series, hiking in the heart of norway is hilarious! I can not imagine how great this adventure was. Only by viewing this Nature on the Video i am humbled how great this is. Thank you für sharing this with us - and your great Thumbnails, Masterpieces ❤
As always, thank you for taking me to places I would not otherwise ever see in my lifetime. And that wondrous little stove, delivering caffeine and nourishment!
Next week my friends and I will be embarking on a 10 day hike in Jotunheimen. Your videos and especially music capture the feeling aswell as the beauty of jotunheimen and other Scandinavian national parks perfectly. Its a place that combines harsh landscapes with fragine ecosystems. I can't wait to finally be there again. All the best from Germany!
Great adventure, beautiful landscapes and views from the heights, I myself have recently started documenting my adventures, I love this direction. Good luck on your adventures. Greetings from a Belarusian tourist!
Another wonderful adventure in a magical landscape! Thanks for letting us all ‘ tag along’, I can almost feel the breeze and warmth of the sun 🌞. Thank you, Jarl!
'When you wish upon a star....' 🌠 The pinnacle time lapse w/ cloud/shadows was captivating, as well as the groundcover macro shots. Ah your comforting coffee and camp spots are so well seen and continuously delight! Thank you for gifting us, what seems like a private look into a vast world of beauty.
Looks like you were lucky with the weather! I was hiking in Jotunheimen for 8 days this august, and had 5 days with rain (2 of those days with heavy rain, where everyone poured water out of bags and boots). I loved hiking in Norway most of the time, but hiking in rain and pitching the tent in rain and wind for 5 days straight drove me to a moment of almost quitting. It wasn't only fun and games.
@@NorwegianXplorer Got it. I would have done the same, if it wasn't for the fact that I don't live in Norway, and therefore had to plan it advance long before the forecast was available. However I still found that the yr forecast wasn't very reliable in Jotunheimen. We had a lot of rain 2 days where the forecast the day before had predicted sun and no rain.
I understand that, the mountain forecast can be unreliable, but the best thing you can do is have trips planned for various places, and go where the weather looks most favourable. No fun at all walking in the rain. Sometimes I add days to the trip to just stay in the tent during rain.
Your Jotunheimen videos are indescribably good, i have lots of sweet memories of hiking in that amazing area. 14:29 should be the ridge of Tjønnholstind far in the background, more than 30 years ago i camped there nearly on top on a handful of snow. It was an extraterrestrial experience, lonely, silent and windless.
What a magnificent fjord (first 15 min.)! - Remarkable how the glaciers have shortened... You did well to let speak the sounds of nature, such as the rustling water... But, being in the middle of the most beautiful "nowhere", didn't it once happen you lost your orientation ?.... you were lost ? That should be very scaring... Once again, dear Jarl, that was a marvellous video full of vivid colours... Thanks ! I' m glad for you you spent such an intense wandering....
The tracking way is not an easy one, you must have had a hard time walking with a camera and your bag Thanks to you, I saw such a wonderful sight. Thank you.
Jarl, Wow everywhere you look. Great place. Like to see it from the top of the two highest mountains. Appears they can drive into those lodges. Is that possible? Winter only? Any fish in the lakes or are they to land locked for that.
@@NorwegianXplorer When I come over I will be on adventure motorcycle suitable for off road travel, hard pack access roads. I know you can't ride on trails in the parks and many other places. But there are trails for motorcycle travel. I am coming across Iceland first then ferry over to Norway
Jarl , I think that a film about Norvegian nature should be accompanied by Norvegian atmosferic black metal . Eldamar , for example. Anyway , it's a good video !
Hei Jarl. Tusen takk for dine flotte filmer.
Hi Jarl, I've seen a lot of shooting stars from many locations but not like the one at 16:50 from your latitude - was that going north to south? 🌠 Hiking happiness is so contagious grateful for your travels.
@@NorwegianXplorer Oh ok that makes sense - it looked very unusual. I've seen some of those satellites from the Black Rock Desert hot springs with friends.

Dragigt?
I'm thinking about heading to Norway in mid to late September - do you think it would be too cold around Jotunheimen? Focus on other areas? Def want to see some fall colors but also don't want to freeze. I have gear good down to -6c/20f roughly but don't love the cold.
Wow 6 days. You rock. How did you even take enough food for 6 days. I’m more interested in how you packed for this trip😂. Wonderful views. Just blew me away I can only imagine being there in person. Wow. I’m curious if you ran into anyone else during your trip? So many question LOL
Every time I watch one of your Norway videos, Norway moves higher on my future trip list.
Awesome, glad you enjoy the videos:-)
This is surreal! Just amazing!

Autumn is definitely the best time in Jotunheimen. The colors are staggering! Thanks for sharing!

Hey, I never go out in Norway unless there is a good weather forecast. The forecast basically tells me where I should go or not.
