Ooo I would love too see a “what clothes you need to bring to college” video ! I don’t wanna over pack clothes but I’m not sure what I’ll need 😬

Don't bring a shit load of cute clothes. I'd say bring one nicer dress, one pair of heels, and maybe a couple pretty blouses that mix and match with your jeans. I brought so much cute stuff to college and ended up bringing it all home at Christmas.
Bring comfortable clothes to school. Lots of tshirts, lots of comfy jeans. You can still look cute AND be comfy. You'll never want to dress cute for class. You're going to be walking across campus, it'll be early, you'll be busy. Busy people don't want to be super uncomfortable.
Bring lots of jeans and leggings and shirts. Sweatshirts to throw on when it's cold, t-shirts and a couple of jackets. Pack a couple of nice dresses and maybe a pair of heels. Cozy shoes are ESSENTIAL. Get shoes that aren't just for looks but actually comfortable 😂 Just bring clothes that match, don't overdo it.
Hannah Hart you have 40 shirts?? My whole wardrobe isn’t even 40 items 😂
For anyone looking at this now, don’t forget bar shoes. College bars and frats and shit are gross. Don’t wear nice shoes to that type of stuff.

Tips:
1. Store things in cute baskets
2. String lights
3. Cover ugly furniture with cute throw blankets
4. Decorative pillows
5. Get a cute duvet cover
6. The color yellow
7. Rearrange furniture to optimize space
8. Get a comfortable chair
9. Don't overpack/overdecorate
10. Pick up supplies by your school
11. Get a phone wallet
12. Tie your key around your wrist
13. Keep healthy snacks in room
Decorations:
1. Letterboards
2. Greenery
3. Salt lamp
4. Get a rug
Could you do a video about rooming with someone else? Like tips for communication, anything you wish you had done differently, what surprised you about the experience, how you had to adapt, etc.
I start nursing school in fall and i'll be living on campus. I'm excited to meet new people but nervous for the school material

Basically my college arranges our roommate and what dorm we go to and announce it about a month early, so Me and my roommate actually met up together before we moved in so we could get to know each other, come up with a aesthetic we wanted for our dorm & list down things we thought we needed like appliances etc and it was a life saver so If you can I recommend meeting up with your roommate before hand

Pretty much all my decorations are posters or things to go on the wall, so I’ll have a fun wall but no space taken up by decorations so that’s nice

About to head back for my second year and I wish I would’ve seen videos like this earlier. Your dorm becomes your home away from home and if you don’t make it special it can make life more stressful. These are great tips to follow!

Omg yes to the phone wallet! I tried carrying mine around in like an id case that hooked to my lanyard and it’s such a pain to dig them out of a bag, about a month into the semester I switched to using a phone wallet and it made it so much easier!

Oddly enough, these videos are really helpful - I used to commute for freshman and sophomore year - now I’m transferring and living in a dorm 😂 I feel like I’ve done it all backwards.
