And aspiration is for making sure u didnt hit a nerve or a vein. Whereas z factor is to make sure blood doesnt spray all over when you remove the needle
You don't aspirate when you are giving vaccine in the deltoid. Yes, you still aspirate to confirm that you are not in a vessel for other IM meds. Yes, you still pull the skin. Pulling the skin before the injection makes the needle track to take the shape of the letter “Z,” which gives the Z- track its name. It's a good video! 👍🏼
this is an outdated technique. Aspiration is no longer required and z tracking is used istead of pulling the skin up
Z factor is stupid smarty. The blood can get stucked under your skin

1. Not the best patient to demonstrate anatomical landmarks.
2. Blood didn't appear on aspiration, but an air bubble...
Do you not believe that you'll never have a similar patient?
Blood shouldn't appear. If blood appears you're not in the muscle. The air bubble is appropriate.
@@wahwahwah4321 You are telling me it is ok to inject air bubble in the muscle?
@@-2ool yup
@@-2ool Not ideal but its fine as you are only putting in what came out. It is in the blood stream that you do not want an air bubble.
Chutd injection
You think they would of picked someone with less fat!!!
